Description
She's had Joong Ki ever since he was a one-month old puppy. He was her best companion, the only one who really knew her. Then he ran away, never to be found again, except... who is this young man sleeping on her bed? And wearing Joong Ki's collar?!
Foreword
Seohyun was currently living the life she wanted. Or rather, it was quite comfortable. Her own high-rise apartment in Seoul, attending university classes for medical school, and even balancing a part-time assistant job at a nearby hospital. She did not want for anything. Never went hungry and for the most part, could purchase what she liked (though within reason, of course there had been that one splurge on a Marc Jacobs bag in which she swore up and down she needed it).
Seohyun had her close friends, though she wasn't one to be called a social butterfly by any means. Her shy nature diverted any unwanted attention, though put strains on any romantic endeavors. Yet, this was just fine and dandy with her, being single and all. She had Joong Ki, a labrador retriever she had ever since the beginning of middle school, to love on her whether she wanted it or not. So who really needed a relationship anyway?
Except Joong Ki ran away two weeks ago.
Or rather, in Seohyun's eyes, he vanished into thin air. But that could've just been her distraught emotions talking. Weepy days turned into sleepless nights as her anxiety levels reached new heights. She had done everything in her power; from asking every single one of her neighbors in the surrounding four floors, including all the official staff members of the residence building, to posting up hundreds of flyers for her missing pet.
Work felt dull, her classes were lifeless, even her dinners, as much of it as she could swallow, lost their taste. Would Seohyun ever look into those big, brown, earnest eyes again?
