Foreword
“Yuri-unnie…”
Darkness swallowed the room... but I could still see her eyes. I gulped.
They were even darker. Lust was engraved in her expression… I felt the bed sink beside me and froze, shutting my eyes tightly and hoping she didn’t realize I was awake. I held my breath. She was so close now I could feel the heat radiating from her, her warm breath caressing the side of my face; she was so close I could even hear her heartbeat…
A violent tremor blasted through me… I nearly jumped, clenching my fists to keep from reacting, when she gently traced the outline of my face, almost lovingly. Almost. There was more desire behind the action than anything else, and that’s what petrified me the most…
“Unnie… I know you’re awake.”
Her whisper sent chills down my spine. I opened my eyes, finally meeting hers for the first time and feeling cold dread seep through me when I saw how dark her eyes were, the pupils nearly swallowing the iris whole.
I would’ve screamed. I would’ve shoved her away from me. But what made me freeze was what I saw when she moved away from me; in the pale moonlight that was creeping through the blinds, I saw something shining in her eyes –fear.
She was terrified.
I reached up to touch her face, hesitantly, softly. I released my breath.
“Yoona-yah…”
