"Do you know, Minhoyah?”

Closing the cover of the book he had been reading, his attention moved to his brother immediately. His fingers skimmed over the cover of it, a serene smile lifted on his features. “Know what?”

“People used to say that often, a pair of two siblings were reincarnated spouses. In other words, those siblings were soulmates.” The younger of the two, brothers, Taemin, laid by the bed quietly, with his body turned so that his gaze could be on the elder. His fingers swept over the covers beneath him, eyes just blankly, thoughtlessly peering over his hyung’s.

Minho thought about his words deeply for a moment, answering slowly, as if still lost in thought. “Then, those spouses must have been cursed. They can never be together, no matter how strong  their love for each other is...” His voice trailed off, lost in the piercing gaze of his little brother.

“It’s tragic, isn’t it? So... heartbreaking.”
