Calamity of the Shadows

Description

This is my second story so far and it will be different from my first story, Crimson Lily, but some aspects will be similar. Such as; there will be romance between my OC's and the Super Junior members and it will have a dark atmosphere (but I will add some humor every now and then). There will be character deaths and blood/violence so just to warn you if you don't like that kind of stuff. It won't be really bad, but it's just a warning. This is another story involving "you". Your name for this will be Jang Hye Yoon (Hye Yoon). That's pretty much all I have to say for now.

Note (August 11th, 2012): This is just a teaser for what's to come. I actually won't be starting this fanfic just yet. I will be gone for the next week, but I will update once I get back. Pinky swear!! ^.^ I was going to wait until I got back until I even did this, but I just couldn't wait! I hope you enjoy my little excerpt for now! (P.S The cover has Yesung, but although he is a main character, he's not the main main character, but since he's my bias and that picture fit so well with the theme that I used it. Plus, when I tried to use all 15 members it looked REALLY messy!)

Main plot:

You and your 3 friends have been trainees with SM for about 3 years now and were scheduled to debut within the next two years. Though the work was stressful, you did your best and tried to think positive. Your sunbae's always supported you, though it was mainly the female sunbae's like f(x), SNSD and BoA, not so much the male groups. You were awkward around them, even though when you first met them they seemed nice. Anyway, you and your friends worked hard, but there was one thing that always got you scolded, your day dreaming. Even though you were essentially living your dream, you always loved to think about what it would be like in "other worlds". In what ways were they the same, and what ways were they different. You always wondered this, though you don't know why, it's just interested you since you were old enough to really understand what a "world" was. Maybe all that day dreaming has finally taken over your reality or you just hit your head really hard, because this was surely not your average dream, or dimension for that matter.

Foreword

"What the hell happened?" you thought as you sat up, rubbing your head from the impact of the ground which had come up to you at lightning speed.

You looked around through your blurred vision and saw that you were in the practice room. 'What?' you thought. You tried to stand but failed in the attempt and fell back into place from the dizziness that overwhelmed you. "Focus, Hyeyoon." you whispered as you tried to fight the urge to fall back into darkness again. Once you regained composure you ran through your head what had happened. 'I was walking...out of the practice room...to switch with the Super Junior sunbae's...when...when what? What happened?' you strained as you tried to remember. "Dammit." you hissed. Suddenly, a flash of pain ran through your skull and you clutched your head. When the pain dulled you brought your hands to your lap, you gaped at what you saw. Your hands were covered in blood. You couldn't even see the skin. You started to panic as you looked behind you and saw that blood was flowing down your back and onto the concrete beneath you. You called out in distress but the pain returned which caused you to grasp your head and fall to your side, writhing in agony.

You wished you would pass out again so that the pain would stop, but you remained perfectly concious, taking the full affect of the pain the was now creeping down your spine. After what felt like an eternity you heard someone whisper your name. You lifted your head slightly and saw the faces of your friends, they all had worried looks on their faces, though they did nothing to try to stop the pain-wait. The pain...was gone. You quickly sat up and realized that the pain had completely vanished, as did any trace it would have left. You looked around with your now perfect vision and saw that you were in your room.

"Are you okay, Hyeyoon?" Jin Ae asked.

"Uh...yeah...what happened?" you asked.

"You spaced out while we were practicing our dance and ran into the wall stereo and passed out." Soo Min said.

"Oh."

"You have to be more careful, Hyeyoon. You have to stop spacing out while we're practicing." Hee Young scolded, for the 10th time this week.

"Sorry..." you said sheepishly.

"Well, I guess we should head home. It's getting late. We start practice at 4 tomorrow after school so don't be late and come focused." Hee Young said as they left.

"I will. Promise." you said.

They smiled to you and left. You sighed as you fell back against your pillow. 'That dream...what happened? It felt so real.' you thought. You decided to push it to the back of your mind and catch up on the practice you missed. You the music and started dancing, teaching yourself to focus. Too bad you can't learn the impossible in one night.
