Description

Joon just wanted to be a star.

Jinki just wanted to see the stars.

The stars can bring them together, but the stars can drag them apart.

And with Jinki relying so heavily on the stars, does Joon have a place in the younger's simple life?

 

A story of learning to be humble...

and trusting fate.

Prompt: "Yellow" by Coldplay. Because it's one of my absolute favorite songs of all time and never fails to inspire me. <3

 

There was actually hidden inspiration for this story in:

Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore

"Stars" by fun.

Some personal experiences...

But the general idea came from "Yellow." :)

Chapter 2: Ok. I am not at all a Joonew shipper. But this was truly lovely. I appreciate the fact that your Joon was not written as a dumb brick like most authors seem to do, nor was your Jinki a clumsy, chicken-obessesed man. Many thanks. You wove in the song lyrics very nicely, and didn't overdo the theme- well written!
