The Diary of a Socially Awkward Girl
Description
Seohyun and Hyoyeon have been the best of friends, ever since elementary school. While Hyoyeon is outgoing and cheerful, Seohyun is awkward and shy. She can't bear talking to people and is always afraid that she's being a bother. Despite this, Seohyun has been having a good high school life, hanging out with Hyoyeon.
Until Lee Hyukjae and Cho Kyuhyun show up.
Lee Hyukjae has been in love with Hyoyeon for five years. He finally builds up the courage to ask her out, and much to his surprise, she agrees! But only on one condition. That is, her best friend, Seohyun, must come with them to all of their dates, no matter what. Hyukjae agrees, but ends up bringing his best friend, Kyuhyun, so that they can have a "double date" and so that he can have some time alone to get closer with Hyoyeon.
Unfortunately, Hyoyeon realizes this and immediately breaks up with him on the spot. This causes his best friend, Kyuhyun, to get angry.
He finds it to be the fault of Seohyun and does everything he can to make her life miserable. To make her lash out at him and show her true nature. He pushes her books down, trips her in the hallway, and sticks gum in her hair. However, nothing works. Seohyun doesn't lash out. She doesn't cry. She doesn't get mad. She just apologizes.
Suddenly, Kyuhyun starts to realize that she may not be as bad as he thought and that, perhaps, they could actually end up as friends.

"K-Kim Hyoyeon..will you go out with me?"
Hyukjae wet his lips nervously, unable to make eye contact with the blonde in front of him.
"Sure."
He blinked, wondering if he was hearing things.
"D-Did I hear correctly...did you just say that-"
"I said sure. We can go out," She replied nonchalantly. "I don't have a problem dating you, since you seem decent, but I have a condition."
He grinned excitedly. "A condition? Name it! No matter what you say, I'll agree to it!"
She stared directly into his eyes.
"Wherever we go, my best friend, Seohyun, has to go with us."
Uh, what?
Hyukjae tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"You're saying...you want to bring your best friend with us to all of our dates? No matter where we go? A movie theater? A cafe?"
She scowled. "Do you need to get your ears checked or something? Yes, you dummy! Wherever we go, Seohyun is going with us! She's my best friend and I cherish her more than anything in the world. We go, she goes. I can't leave her alone."
"B-B-But...I mean...we're dating! I know she's your best friend and an irreplaceable existence in your life, but..but..don't you think she'll feel awkward with us too?" He reminded her.
"Why would she feel awkward? I'm there. And I expect you to be just as friendly with her as I am," Hyoyeon answered firmly.
No wonder she said yes so easily... Hyukjae thought to himself with a sigh. It wasn't as if she really returned his feelings, she just wanted someone who could take her and her best friend around.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.
He could spend tomorrow, making her fall in love with him. A double date..that was it! This way, he and Hyoyeon could be alone together and the friend wouldn't feel so awkward, as she would have a guy of her own!
"I understand. I agree to your condition, Hyoyeon," He chirped. "Tomorrow, let's meet at Lotte World, at 11 in the morning since it's a Saturday. Come with your friend, 'kay?"
Hyoyeon eyed him suspiciously, but nodded.
"Okay..."

"Hyoyeon, please tell me you're kidding."
Hyoyeon rolled her eyes, smiling happily. "Seohyun, I don't joke about this kind of stuff! I'm going out with this guy named Hyukjae and he wants to bring you and me to Lotte World tomorrow."
Seohyun groaned. "Don't lie to me please! You threatened him, didn't you?"
"I didn't! I..I just gave him a condition! That wherever we went, he had to take you too."
"Hyoyeon!" Seohyun shrieked. "Why would you do that to him? That puts both him and me in an awkward position! I'm sure he thinks I'm a third wheel and I'll FEEL like a third wheel! Oh, I bet he hates me!"
"You won't feel like a third wheel," Hyoyeon assured her. "I'll go on all the rides with you."
Seohyun sighed. "Don't you even feel bad for Hyukjae-sshi? He's your boyfriend! He should be the one that you're going on rides with! Not me! In fact, I shouldn't even be there!"
"Oh, c'mon, Seo, just go."
"No!"
"Yes."
"No!"
"Yes."
"No!"
Hyoyeon gave her a sharp look. "We're going. For sure."
Seohyun cowered in fear, letting out a soft whimper.
"Fine..."

A/N: Based off the manga, Tomodachi no Hanashi. Only 2 chapters of the manga are out so far, so the first few chapters will be similar to the manga's, but after that, I'll be writing it completely. :) Hope all SeoKyu and HyoHyuk shippers would like this fanfic and try reading it. Though I'll be putting a lot of SeoKyu and HyoHyuk moments in this, I'll also be focusing a lot on the friendship between Seohyun and Hyoyeon, since that really plays an important role in the story. ^^
