                Key sneaked up behind the rapper before shouting near his ear, attempting to make him jolt in surprise

“Key! Stop. Doing. That.” Minho hissed at the laughing diva who took a seat beside him

“I’m sitting in the edge! If you keep surprising me like that, I could fall to the ground!” He continued grumbling,

                “Okay, Sorry, buddy. It’s just.. the face when you’re surprised is priceless. Beside, you’re always dozing off lately. Every now and then,”

‘It’s because I’m thinking about you, babo.’ Minho uttered in his mind

                “What are you thinking about anyway?”

‘You,’

“Some.. crush of mine.”

                “Really? Oh! The one that you tell me! You’re about to confess with the song, right? How’d it go?”

“He’s still clueless.” Minho mumbled

“Too bad.”

                ‘Yeah. Too bad. Why can’t you be a little more sensitive and feel me?’

“Hey! Maybe I could help you, Min.” Key beamed after a few minutes of silence

                “Mwo?”

“Yeah, tell me. Who is he?”

Minho tried to hide his sarcastic chuckle. Is this the right time to confess? To clearly tell Kibum that he’s the one? Well, both of them are now single anyway.

There could be a chance for him, right? A slightest, perharp? But still. A chance.

                This time, Minho doesn’t want to mess up.

“He is a talented, amazing singer.” Minho smiled toward the certain brunette

“Do I know him?” Key cocked his eyebrow as a smirk crept up his gorgeous face

                “Are you kidding me? Of course you know him,”

“Is he from SM?”

“Yeah,” Minho smiled, this time, trying to radiate as much charisma as possible.

                “Older than you?”

“Well, technically he is,” Minho grinned,

                ‘But his attitude and everything, he’s just like a baby.’

“Shut. Up.” Key grinned, wide, an obvious blush crept on his high cheekbone

                “Yes.” Minho can do nothing except returning the sweet smile.

And then, Key hugged Minho. The latter swore he can’t be happier. Finally. After years of longing.

“Why don’t you tell me earlier that you like Changmin hyung? I always knew something is going on between you two.” Key beamed as he nuzzled into the taller’s embrace

                “What?” the taller gaped, dumbfounded.

“Don’t worry, Minho. I always knew Changmin hyung likes you too. Your feeling is mutual, buddy.” Key pried off from the hug and smiled at his best friend. What he didn’t realize is that the best friend of his stopped smiling.

                ‘Why Key? Why?’

“Ah! There you are hyung! Have you gotten ready? I arrived just now, I hope we won’t be late if I took a shower for a moment, I’m sweaty from the last schedule.” Taemin showed up

                “Sure thing, babe. Go get ready, we won't be late,” Key winked at the dancer, who quickly ran back downstairs

“Late for what?”

“Oh, Tae and I are deciding to go on a movie-date. Well, sort of. You wanna come with us? Call Changmin hyung, then. I don’t think he’s busy,” Key winked

“A date?”

                “Huh? Yeah, why?” Key glanced at his bestfriend, while Minho curse himself for saying it out loud.

“I.. umm.. I thought you guys are—umm, so, you guys are together again?”

“again? Taeminnie and I were never breaking up, silly.” The rapped chuckled

                “But I thought you guys were breaking up, I mean.. you went out with G.O hyung and Taemin went with Jonghyun hyung,” He stated, puzzled.

“Oh, yeah right. We’re taking a short break. But we never really breaking up. In fact, the short ‘break’ gave us a better relationship, like, we know that we love each other more than we realize.” Key smiled. Love filled his beautiful feline eyes.

                ‘Well, something felt wrong.

Really wrong.

It’s not because of Taemin, nothing is wrong with him. He’s funny, he’s caring, he’s cute, he’s y, he’s amazing, he’s adorable.

It just felt wrong because it wasn’t me.’
