Silent Readers make me sad

Onew sighed, as he layed ed on his bed, face down. Why didn't he listen to Key?

After finishing a photoshoot earlier yesterday, the SHINee members were given the rest of the day off. Since they were by the beach, they decided to spend the rest of the day swimming and hanging out. While Key, Jonghyun and Minho decided to spend most of the time under the beach umbrella, Onew and Taemin were in the water most of the day. Onew shook his head, recalling Key's words yesterday.

"Yah! If you stay out in the sun too long, you're going to get burned. You guys should stay in the shade for a little while."

But did they listen? Of course not! Onew loved the beach, and with Taemin, they both played for hours until it was finally time to return to the dorm. Onew had actually fell asleep in the sun while laying down on a towel for a little while, which was when Taemin had probably gone in the shade, seeing that he wasn't as badly burned as Onew right now. Onew closed his eyes, trying to hide the pain he was feeling, as Key helped apply sunburn medication to his red back.

"Seriously, I must really just be wasting my breath. Why didn't you listen?" Key complained.

"I wanted to get tan..." Onew muttered, making Key laugh.

"HA! If you really wanted a tan, then you should have gone spray tanning or something. We have a performance tomorrow. What are we going to do, you can't even have a shirt on without hurting yourself." Onew shrugged, regreting doing so immediately after he felt the pain in his skin. Shaking his head, Key got up and walked out of the room. Not long after, Taemin walked in, sitting down on the bed next to Onew.

"Hyung, are you feeling better?" Taemin asked, concern on his face after looking at his back again. Onew turned his head to the side of the pillow to face Taemin.

"No. It hurts. How about you?"

"Ah, I just got a little burn on my shoulders. It isn't as bad as, well, yours." He said, as Onew sighed again.

"We really should bring sunscreen with us next time..." Onew said, and Taemin nodded. After a few hours spent laying down, it was already 2PM. Onew decided to try to get up and walk around a bit. He walked into the living room where Key and Jonghyun were watching tv. After noticing that he was up, Key jumped up to his aide.

"Hey, what're doing up? You should be resting." He said sternly. Onew pouted.

"I'm bored." He said. Key poked Onew's back, causing him to yelp in pain.

"See? You're still not in a good condition. Lets go." he said, as Onew cast Jonghyun a look for some help. Jonghyun got up and stopped Key.

"Let him stay out here for a little bit. It wouldn't hurt him." he said, as Onew nodded approvingly.

"Yes, it will. I've dealt with a sunburn like this before. What Jinki needs is to stay in the room." He said. Onew's face fell, as he looked at Key sadly. He held onto Key's arm and shook it lightly.

"Please? It's so boring sitting by myself in the room." He begged. Key thought for a moment and made a decision. After gathering the other members together, he made a quick schedule for each of the members to spend time with Onew in his room so he doesn't get bored. First on the list was Taemin. Taemin had kept Onew occupied by playing a few card games with him. Onew layed down the opposite way from where his head usually goes so that they could play cards on the floor. After an hour, it was Minho's turn. Since Minho wasn't really sure what to do to make Onew not bored, Taemin came back and brought some snacks, as they looked through a message book sent in by their international fans. After that, Taemin and Minho left, and Jonghyun walked in with a laptop. He sat down next to Onew so that he could see the screen. Before he could realize what was happening, Jonghyun took a picture of then on the webcam.

"Hey, what're you doing?" He asked, confused. Jonghyun smiled.

"Updating my me2day. 'Onew has sunburn~' It came out pretty good. You can see your red face." he said while typing. Onew opened his mouth in surprise.

"Wait- do I get any say in this? At all?" Onew questioned, already having a feeling what the answer would be. Jonghyun turned around and smiled.

"Sure. How long do you think it'll take for someone to comment? I bet 30 seconds."

"10 seconds." Onew said, and Jonghyun posted the update. "Wait! I didn't say- aish, you're quick." he said, which Jonghyun only laughed to. Surely enough, 10 seconds later someone had already replied to the update.

"Wow, you won. Man, our fans are good. They have fingers of lightning." Jonghyun said. Onew couldn't help but be proud that he was right. They continued to look up things on the computer when Key walked into the room.

"Yah, Jonghyun, your turn is over." he said. Jonghyun looked up for a moment, then back down to the video they were watching.

"Ah, that's okay. I'll hang out a bit longer. You can go." he said. Onew laughed at something on the video, not even noticing Key.

"Psh, and to think I was going to give Onew some chicken. Oh well." Key said. Onew perked up once he heard the word chicken. Key slowly turned around and began to walk out of the room.

"I want chicken! Where is it?" Onew said excitedly, starting to get up.

"Yah! Sit down! I'll bring it in." Key said. Feeling the hunger in his own stomach, Jonghyun got up as well.

"Ah, I'll go help." he said, following Key out of the door. After the smell of fried chicken had spread throughout the whole dorm, soon everyone was in the bedroom, gathered around Onew's bed, eating chicken. After they finished and everyone went back to their own things, it was Key and Onew left in the room. Key sat on his own bed while Onew sat upright in his, stretching from being in the same position for so long. As he did so, he realized that his back didn't hurt as bad as it did earlier. Still stinging, but bearable. Standing up, he leaned over towards Key's bed, resting his head on it. Key looked up from his magazine and raised an eyebrow.

"Does your back still hurt?" he asked. Onew nodded his head.

"MmmHmm. A lot. But its bearable."

"Ah." was all Key said.

"Thanks for helping me. Next time I'll listen to you for sure." Onew said. Key laughed.

"Duh, you should. I'm Almighty Key, after all." Onew nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, well, I need to go."

"Where?"

"Bathroom. I haven't gone since yesterday." Key flew out of his bed, nearly knocking Onew over.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! Go! Before you explode on the floor!" he said, shoving Onew out of the room.

"My back!" he shouted, while running off. Key shook his head in disbelief.

"Aish, what am I going to do with these people..."
