How to begin. Well, the best place is probably when you, Kim Eun Chan, won that scholarship. That stupid, silly scholarship that you hadn't even wanted to apply for in the first place. But with your brother Him chan about to go into university next year, adoptive brother Jun Hong recently added to the family two cousins Mi So and Da Hee, all of their friends constantly at your place trying to stay out of trouble while their own parents worked, plus your parents already barely making ends meat, you knew you had to do something to help. So you had entered for the scholarship on a whim. The requirements had been outrageous: good grades, good role model, excel in something outside of academics... True, it had been set up under the name of one of the most prestigious women to graduate from Choiyang High School, Park Sandara, so it had to be difficult to obtain, but the fact that a student won it who was not already going to the school? Unthinkable. When you realized it meant getting up early, having to go straight from school to work, and basically losing every chance you had to see your friends, you almost gave it up. But the looks on your family's faces changed your mind. And it was only those looks that kept you there, especially once you met them.

See, in every school there are the Kings and the Queens, those two groups that ruled the school. And while Choiyang High was an elite school for the spoiled rich, that did not mean it didn't have it's own set of Kings and Queens. First, the Queens. You were unfortunately enough to be in the same class as the four queens of the school who called themselves the Missies, and they took it upon themselves to remind you daily just how low class you were. If it had just been them, you would have kept silent and barreled through it all. But then you ran into the Kings. The F5 as they were called. Why F5? Some silly girl had compared them to the group "F4" from Hana Yori Dango, a japanese manga, and the name just stuck. Except that there were 5 boys in this group, hence F5. This "prestigious" group that ruled the school consisted of:

Lee Seung hyun, 16 year old genius who had learned to be a playboy on the coat tails of his hyungs. His specialty? Melting Older women's hearts. 

Kang Daesung, 17 year old rebel. He was quiet and smiled all of the time, except when someone managed to get on his bad side. Growing up as the son of the local gang leader had taught him to enjoy the good times, but also how to fight and win.

Kwon Ji Yong, 17 year old artist playboy who can be seen with a new and different girl every day of the week. While he isn't allowed to sing his own music, the number of songs bearing the name "G-Dragon" as their writer was in the 100s. His parents were wealthy in their own way and left him to amuse himself from a young age.

Dong Yong Bae, 18 year old artist who loves to sing and dance, but only when he is alone. His parents died when he was younger, and he is raised by his grandfather who owns the record company that produces a majority of Ji Yong's songs. Yong Bae puts off a silent and serious exterior, but when he is by himself he can't help but sing and dance. And while he may seem sad, underneath is a smiling young man waiting to come out.

Choi Seung Hyun, 18. Leader of the F5. His mother, Yang Hyun-uk, married his father, Choi Yi Hoo, and merged their two companies. This created Choiyang, the largest company in Korea with a finger in just about every pie. He was brought up with the best and his attitude? Well it leaves something to be desired. 

So what happens when you accidentally assault the leader of F5 and then manage to bring your brother and his friends into the mess? Two worlds collide in this story which proves that being true to yourself and your heart really is the only way to survive.
