Haru POV -

Today was the day. The day where my life will only continue to blossom with happiness. So much has happened throughout the course of our lives. We fell in love, got hurt, smiled and cried, laughed, sobbed, but we were happy. Happy to be together. Growing up with Jonghyun..I never thought that we would end up the way we did. I never thought I would fall for this stupid idiot. There were tough times, but there were also plenty of happy times. And it all makes up for it in the end.

During all this time, there has also been someone who's always been by my side. And that is, my best friend, Park Kyungmin. She smiled through the pain, and walked her way across the complicated road ahead of her. She was happy with the decision she made, and I as her friend, couldn't help but be happy as well. Without her, I wouldn't be here right now. She helped me smile and laugh. Not to mention, she bought be coffee in times when I couldn't. I'm happy to say that she is now with--

"--Haru ah! Why aren't you dressed yet?" Speak of the devil, Kyungmin walked in with a some-what frustrated look on her face. "After all the trouble we went through to finding that dress, you're not even going to put it on? Aishhh." Kyungmin had come earlier to help me prep for the wedding. Since she was better at makeup than I was, so she helped me with my make up before she left again to get herself ready a little bit more again. 

"Ahh, mian mian," I laughed and put my palms together as if beggig for forgivness. "I'll get dressed now~" I grabbed the dress and left for the dressing room. Letting out a deep breath once I had gotten the dress on, I stared at my relfection for a long time. I smiled to myself. I still couldn't believe this was happening. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the slightest big nervous to get married. I let out a deep breath again. 

"Haru ah, do you need some help with the dress? You've been in there for some time now," I heard Kyungmin say outside of the dressing room. 

"O-oh, no, I'm fine," I quickly replied and opened the door. As I did so, I found Kyungmin just staring me down. "W-what is it?" 

Kyungmin smiled like a proud mother and said in a gentle tone, "You look beautiful, Haru." I could tell she was trying to hold back her tears. At this point, I was doing the same. Smiling back and thanking her, I walked to her and hugged her. "I'm really happy for you," she said, and pulled me away and looked me in the eyes. "If Jonghyun hurts you, tell me and I will murder him, alright?" I couldn't help but laugh because these were almost the exact same words she said to me when she found out about Jongyun and I dating. 

"Alright," I simply smiled.

Jr POV - 

I adjusted my tie/bow for the millionth time and examined myself in the mirror. Letting out a deep breath, I smoothed the coat of my tux. I was nervous alright, but I was most definitly ready. Ready to take the hand of the woman I love and spend the rest of my life with her. 

Hearing a knock on the door, I turned to see the rest of Nu'est. They were all dressed in their black tuxes with their neatly folded white handkerchiefs in their front chest pockets. I saw Baekho first with his broad shoulders, then Aron with his thick brows, Minhyun and his 6ft+ self, and stylish diva Ren. Seeing them, I turned from the mirror and smiled and lifted up a hand. "Yo." 

"Wahh," Baekho was the first to speak. "Just being here is making me nervous. And look at you! You don't seem the slightest bit nervous Jonghyun!" 

"Pfft, believe me, I'm beyond nervous," I laughed. "I mean, I'm basically selling my life to this woman," I joked as the others laughed along. "But on a serious note, no matter how nervous I am, I'm still excited. I can't wait to call this woman my wife." 

"Gah! Don't get so cheesy on us now! Save it for Haru!" Baekho turned around and cringed.

"What Baekho means is that, we're glad you're not letting your nervousness get in the way," Aron smoothly said. "You've made it." 

"Haha, thanks," I smiled. 

"We have a surprise for you," Aron spoked again. 

"The first two years since Nu'est debuted were tough. We tried our best, but we never won any awards or anything really. We knew that you blamed yourself often because of this," Minhyun explained. "Throughout this whole entire time, even to this day, you've been an amazing leader. For the two years of blaming yourself, we thought you deserved.." everyone turned to Ren. 

"This," he pulled out a small award trophy that simply read 'best leader.' All around the base, the other members had signed their names and had witten little messages. "It's not the biggest award, but we hope you like it." 

"No, you're wrong. This IS the best award," I took it from Ren's hands. "This means so much, you guys have no idea." Not caring, I felt my eyes get wet with tears, "Thanks you guys. I jus-"

Suddenly Baekho attacked hugged me as the others joined in. This has got to have been the manilness group hug ever I thought. I couldn't help but smile at how much I have grown to love these guys. I never thought I would grow such a huge bond with them. "Chincha, you guys. Thank you." Thinking back to pre-debut and debut days, I felt my eyes water even more. The guys were quiet, and I could tell they were thinking the same thing. I soon heard sniffing from baekho and eventually we all had started crying. I guess it had finally hit us that we're older now and not rookies anymore. 

Sharing a few more laughs and tears, it felt strangly nostalgic. I know it wasn't like I was never going to see these guys again. I just..

- knock - knock - 

Breaking from the conversation, Ren went to open the door. Before being able to see who it was, Ren nodded after listening to whatever they had to say, then shut the door. I was about to ask who it was, but Ren beat his words before mine. He turned to me and smiled widely. 

"It's time," was all he said before he patted my shoulder then walked out the door. The others let out smiles as well as they followed Ren out. 

"Come out when you're ready," Aron patted me on the shoulder as well. "We'll be waiting for you." 

Leaving me alone once again, I took a deep breath. I adjusted my tie once again and made sure eveything was perfect. Satisfied, I took another deep breath then stepped through the doors. 

Authors POV - 

The wedding was near the beach outside, kind of like the place where Jonghyun and Haru used to play as children. The air felt nice, it wasn't too sunny nor too cloudy - it was perfect. Everything was decorated with a simple delicate white. The chairs had silky elegant white bows tied beautifully on the the chairs and on the aisle laid a white carpet.

The men entered first. In order of Ren, Baekho, Minhyun, then Aron. Lastly, Jonghyun walked in.. He smiled at the people he saw. His family was able to come from his hometown. He saw the CEO of Pledis, as well as his Pledis family members. Once he had taken his place next to the preist, standing tall, he placed his hands behind his back, anticipating his soon to be wife. As this was happening, Minhyun walked towards the piano and began playing, signaling for Haru to come out. 

Just outside the doors, Haru began to panic. Her nerves were getting the best of her. Was she able to do this? Is she ready to do this? All these questions ran through her head; nearly driving her crazy. 

"Haru are you-" Kyungmin began. 

"-I can't do this. I don't think I'm ready Kyungmin-" Haru's anxiety showed though until she felt warm familiar hands on her shoulders. Turning around, Haru let out a slight gasp. "A-Apa?" 

"Mhm," he smiled proudly. 

"I thought you were in Hong Kong-"

"How could I miss my only daughters wedding?" He smiled and hugged her. Kissing her forward, he continued, "Your mother would be so proud of you right now. She always liked Jonghyun y'know." 

"Really?" Haru laughed. 

"Really," he assured. "And she wouldn't want you doubting yourself would she?"

Haru nodded her head no. She could feel her tears forming, however her father was quick to catch them before they fell. 

"Exactly. You know the answer," he smiled. "Im proud of you too Haru." Linking his arms with hers, he looked at me from the side and lifted his chin high. "Ready?" 

Haru nodded yes and lifted her chin high as well, just like how her father taught her. 

"Let's go," he smiled and signaled for the people to open the doors. 

One by one, the brides maids entered in. Kyungmin was the first to enter of course, she was the maid-of-honor after all. After they had all entered through and taken their place, two little girls entered, leaving a track of white rose petals after them. 

And then Haru entered, her arm linked with her fathers. Before she even noticed anyone else, she caught eyes with Jonghyun. She couldn't help but smile. 

Haru POV - 

It was if I could only see him. 

Jonghyun POV - 

She was beautiful. 

Authors POV - 

Jonghyun in air from the beautiful image of Haru. With her gaze, his lips formed into a huge smile, a smile only shown when he was with Haru. He looked as if he was completely lost in her beauty. The love in his eyes were true and sincere. 

Having walked her all the way, Haru's father let go of her arm and gave her one last encouraging smile. He took a seat on the front row. 

Walking towards Jonghyun now, Haru smiled beautifully. Jonghyun then reached out his hands to her, and she gladly took them. 

"You look beautiful," he said softly with much love. In response, Haru could only smile more. As if lost in each others gaze, they had forgotten about the world. They only knew what was right in front of them; each other. Connecting hands, they repeated what the priest said. They eventually moved on to their vows, Jonghyun went first. 

"So...hey," everyone laughed at Jonghyun's awkwardness. "I've known you since forever. And you've known me since forever. Which is kind of awesome. And the fact that we're going to spend the rest of forever together? Let's just say I can't wait. I know I'm always busy," he sighed, "but I will promise to always love you more than the day before. If the music dies away, I'll always make it come back; just for you. I'm not sure how, but I will. You make me laugh and smile in the stupidest ways, but that's okay, because I know I do the same for you. Looking in your eyes now fills me with so much happiness, I can already imagine waking up to your beautiful face. To me you'll always be beautiful. From the moment I met you, I gave a piece of my heart to you, and now I'm finally able to give you all of it. I will grow old with you. I will love you each and every day sincerely. With every wrinkle you gain, more love will only form." Jonghyun smiled. "I love you Lee Haru."

Everyone cheered and clapped at Jonghyun's heartful vow for Haru. There were multiple people sniffling, including Haru herself. Pulling herself together, she took a deep breath and read her vows to him.

"Oh gee, how am I going to top that?" Haru laughed as she wiped a falling tear drop from her cheeks. Clutching Jonghyun's hands tighter, she smiled. "You've been with me for the longest time. The more I think about it, you've always only looked at me...and I've always only looked at you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know things will be difficult..but that's okay. On lonely nights when you're away, I'll always dream of you. Only you. On days where you feel weak, I will hold you and let you know I'm here. I love you too, Kim Jonghyun."

Once again everyone clapped and cheered. Nearly everyone's eyes were damp with tears now. It was easy to tell that the Nu'est members were trying not to show it, especially Baekho. However he eventually gave in and cried for his two dear friends. Among the Nu'est members, there sat Kyungmin. She looked especially happy for the two, for she gave into the tears and smiled proudly for them. To her left sat Minhyun. He too had a proud smile. When he turned to Kyungmin, he chuckled at her crying over the two. Playfully, he nudged her and said, "Bwoh-ya, crying?"

"Tch, shut up Minhyun," Kyungmin laughed and lightly hit Minhyun. "They're happy tears for your information."

"Don't so much," Aron chuckled. Grabbing his hankerchief from his pocket, Aron (who was to the right of Kyungmin) wiped her tears. "Save your tears for later, your makeup is getting ruined." Kyungmin laughed and nodded "okay."

In continuation to the wedding cereomy, the ring boy walked down the aisle with a pillow with two rings resting upon it. Taking the ring first, Jonghyun placed it swiftly into Haru's finger. His eyes never left hers. Haru than took the groom's ring, and placed it in Jonghyun's finger. The priest continued. "Do you, Lee Haru, take Kim Jonghyun as your lawful wedded husband?"

"I do," her answer was simple.

"And do you, Kim Jonghyun, take Lee Haru as your lawful wedded wife?"

"I do," his answer too, was simple.

The priest smiled. "I now present you husband and wife." Taking off his glasses, he said, "You may now kiss the bride."

Giving each other the biggest smiles ever, Jonghyun stepped forward and pulled Haru into a gentle kiss. One hand cupped her cheek and his other arm wrapped around her waist to bring her closer. Raising in her tippy toes, she wrapped her arms around Jonghyun's neck and closed her eyes as she indulged herself in the kiss. After pulling away, they both simotaniously said, "I love you."

Everyone cheered and rose from their seats as they clapped at the newly wedded couple. Jonghyun and Haru smiled at everyone as they took each others hands and walked down the aisle together to their new life together.

A/N[Nouchee/haruhi92]: Oh my goodness, it's the end. ;u ; It's been...what? Two years since I decided to write this story? That's pretty long. First of all, I just want to apologize for the uncalled for hiatus. I've just been so busy school that I couldn't find time to write an update. This, as obvioius as it is, is the last chapter for Between You and I. I can't say this is the best story ever because we kind of wavered a lot from the actual storyline. And I can't say this is the best ending ever either, but hey. I'm satisfied. Throughout this story, I've noticed my growth as a writer a lot. And I'm really looking foward to writing more stories from now on. I really want to thank those of you who stuck along long enough for this ending as well. I cannot express to you guys how much your support and encouragment has helped both Jewel and I. Even though 30+ subscribers isn't as much anymore, it still means a lot to me. I never would have thought I would even get any readers, so thank you all so much. So yeah. This is it. I have to say, I do feel a little sad to be leaving this story, but hey, it's time for it to end. I will for sure always look back to this story and only feel nostalgic about it. I learned so much from writing Between You and I that there is simply no room for regret and disappointment. Once again, thank you all for you support. :) I wish you guys all the best of luck~
