Ending 

WARNING. In this part of the guide I will discuss endings and I will use examples, spoiling the following books/movies/animes. 

-Avatar (not the last airbender, the one with the blue creatures.)

-Elfen Lied

Reading is at your own risk! I'm sorry but I had to explain through examples.

For the ending of your story, once again you have a lot of options. Do you want to confirm what happens, then you can choose for a closed ending. An example of a closed ending is the movie avatar. The main character finally gets the new life that he had been fighting for and the ending shows us him opening the eyes of his new body. That's a closed, confirmed ending. We know what happens. He wakes up as an avatar and will live happily ever after with his new family and his girlfriend. We know this because they have ended the war, so there are no bad things left that we know of. This is also a good example of a happy ending. After a lot of sorrow he gets to live with the people he loves. The end.
