It all started with an unexpected meeting at a coffee shop--a typical nerd and a perky bookworm. When it's about waiting for the right time and not rushing on things--this time, we're going to take it slow. Because this is about time...and finally courage.

Foreword

A/N: I really, really, need this pesky ideas for one-shots out of my brain before I forget them and go crazy. XD Well, school is tough. But not being able to write something is tougher. That's why I gathered my brain cells for a meeting and created this crazy plot. Besides, I really need to gather myself together and write everything while my perception and view on things is still as simple as how I write it now.

Soon, I'm certain that the way I write will become different. I may not write about fluff, or highschool romance. I may not write about tragedy or angst. I may take my writing skills two levels away from where I am now and write on more serious stuff. I don't think I would like that, neither would you. So, I'm going to exhaust all time and possibilities while I still can. :D

Anyway, I'd like to sincerely thank everyone for the wonderful support. Though I've seldom reply to comments, I've definitely read them all. Thank you for letting me know your thoughts and for letting me know that your reading my works. I'm really overwhelmed. I found the gesture really sweet. It motivates me to write more about this pair and share my stories with the fandom. So, thank you.

The idea sparked one lone moment with myself inside a cafe, with only a bag of chips to help me. I was busy killing hours when suddenly a nerd guy entered the place and sat on the seat behind me. I found the situation ironically cute and I told msyelf that have to write something about it. So, here it is now! :D

AWWWW. This is such a nice fluffy-ish oneshot. lol. Is there such a word?

This story can be perceived in a lot of ways but here is my interpretation: Dara eventually got fed up of being a 'nerd' and since she was raised in a conservative family, she was curious of what else was outside her world. The fact that she feared that she'll end up being a spinster lead her to be influenced and go through change. She conformed to patterns in society--partying, smoking and drinking, make up etc so she can met guys and have a relationship. Well that and the fact the Jiyong provoked her by calling her 'easy', which I taught was a pick up line. lol.

Her efforts to change was fruitful in baiting guys in but it left her brokenhearted as they were nothing but typical playboys or one night stand guys looking for fun. She shut off guys eventually (explaining the courage concept). But little does she know, her chance was already there, waiting in front of her from the very beginning (or rather behind her, lol). and she was too blind to see--Yes its Jiyong. lol. And Jiyong recognised her even after 1,826 days and under heavy makeup. :) So yeah, its destiny. I hope you like my interpretation!~ ^^
