Hayley's POV

I'm at that guy's house.

That guy whom I hate.

Our fathers are sitting with us in a sitting room, making small chat.

"Let's leave these two alone for a while, shall we?" Mr. Kim stands, a bright smile on his face.

"Of course..." Dad follows him, pleasant.

We're sitting across from each other in arm chairs, and even though there is quite a bit of distance between us it doesn't feel like enough.

"I hate you" I say, now that we're alone.

"Really now?" He chuckles, staring intently at me.

"Yeah. But you know my feelings for you have never been fond ones anyway" I sip my tea.

"Ahh yes...the untouchable Jung heiress...famous for being a stuck up young lady" He smiles, that annoying poster boy smile.

"The cocky Kim heir, famous for having the biggest ego in the world" I reply, placing my tea down on the coffee table.

"You really don't know your place huh?" He stands, walking towards me.

"Oh I know, but considering the fact that soon we're going to be married, I feel we should be honest with each other" I drly state, standing up as well.

"Really?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Why not?" I shrug.

"Well then, I've always thought of you as the scum of the earth" He starts, standing a metre away from me.

"Likewise"

"You're beautiful, but you talk too much" He adds.

"You're good looking, but have the ugliest personality in history"

"Great comeback" He sarcastically says.

"I don't want to marry you" I frown, looking at the time.

"Well...that's a shame" He takes a step closer to me.

"What are you doing?" I ask suspiciously.

"Nothing" He shrugs, hands behind back.

Those feelings I get whenever he is near start to creep up on me. My blood, coming to a stand still. Sparks shooting through my spine. Goosebumps, rising on my skin.

"Do you remember my birthday?" He asks, looking down on me now, so close to me.

"Yes" I mumble.

Don't remind me.

The only part of that night I enjoyed was when...

We got locked out of the car.

"Did you and your boyfriend kiss a lot when you two were together?"

"Huh? Why are you asking me that?" I tilt my head to the side.

"Just answer the question" He orders.

"I don't know how many times we kissed..." I trail off, uncomfortable.

"I'll take that as a lot then"

"I guess..."

"Then, you should get reacquainted with me" He whispers, lips brushing against mine.

He kisses me, and I am paralysed. His arms, around my waist. Deepening the embrace.

Unable to run away.

Just standing there.

Eyes open.

"So this is what happens when we leave you two alone?" Someone laughs.

He breaks away, and we both turn to see our fathers standing there with the biggest grins on their faces.

We're facing them, but he still has an arm around me.

"What a good start you two, what a good start" Mr. Kim claps.

Ewww...

Ewwww...

Ewwwwww...

Ewwwwww...

I glance at him, finding him smirking proudly.

I hate you.

I mentally say, glaring at him.

"Well, Hayley...we should go now..." Dad clears his throat.

Thank God!

"I can't believe he did that!" Sami and Miki yell over skype.

"Yeah, I know" I sigh, face palming myself.

"The wedding is in 3 days" Miki frowns.

"I know" I pout.

"We'll be there for you girlie" Sami gives me a small smile.

"Thanks" I say weakly.

"Are you going to tell Donghae you love him?" Sami suddenly asks, just when the door opens.

Donghae is standing at the door, and my jaw drops.

His eyes are wide, and his face is a mixture of emotions.

"Omo" I whisper.
