Staring at the vast open expanse above me, I sighed. I sighed because I knew it was somewhere I could never be.

This is terribly late as the competition has ended two months ago so I'm techinally not entering unless Kevinosaur and ChangDictator are willing to make an acception //shot but the prompt immediately caught my attention and this is the end result. I hope you have fun read and that I haven't butchered the concept too much ^__^" Personally, I don't think I managed to convey the emotions, mood and ideas well enough but I'm still learning!
