Jonghyun’s phone rang in his pocket; he took it out and had to blink a few times as the number flashed on the phone. He stood up and answered “Hey. What’s up why are you calling at this hour?” The male on the other line sniffed quietly and replied, “I-I’m sorry I just wanted to talk do you think you can?” Jonghyun sighed and looked at his girlfriend who was watching a movie on the couch. Jonghyun went into the kitchen and made sure that the door to the kitchen was shut. He was about to speak but he heard the younger on the other line release a sob. That made Jonghyun worry, “are you crying? What’s wrong? Is everything ok?” He said a little a little quieter. The younger sniffed, “I’ll be alright but, why are you whispering?” He asked. Jonghyun chuckled “I can’t be too loud.” There was a brief pause before the younger asked, “Why?”

Jonghyun looked to the door hoping that his girlfriend wasn’t going to turn the door knob, he then pressed the phone into his ear with his shoulder and went to the cupboard to make a snack, “Sekyung is in the living room, I don’t want her to hear.” The younger boy chuckled into the receiver, which made Jonghyun smile. In all honesty he missed the younger, his laugh, his touch, his nagging, everything. “You’re so weird Jonghyun.” The younger said as he sighed. Jonghyun had to close his eyes for a moment, he loved that too; the way that his name oh so easily fell off the younger’s lips it was so sweet and hypnotizing that it still drove the older crazy, even though they had broken up.

“Jonghyun! Where did you go?!” Sekyung exclaimed from the living room. Jonghyun looked to the door, “Key, I have to go.” He could imagine the younger pout, “do you have to?” He asked. Jonghyun chuckled “I don’t want to but, I have to otherwise, Sekyung will suspect something, I’ll talk to you later, tomorrow maybe?” He heard Key sigh before saying “alright, bye.” After hanging up, Jonghyun shoved his phone into his pocket, grabbing the plate of food and going back to the living room where Sekyung said, “Where have you been? You are missing the entire movie.” Jonghyun smiled, “sorry but, it was from work I had to take the call.”

The next night, Key called Jonghyun again, as promised. The older, once again excused himself so Sekyung won’t hear, this time, he went outside to talk. “You know whats funny Jonghyun?” Key asked. Jonghyun smiled “What?” There was some shuffling before the younger said, “I dreamt of you last night.” Jonghyun’s heart skipped a beat, “really?” He asked. “That actually is funny ‘cause, I dreamt of you too.” He added. Key chuckled. The older pictured the younger blushing, and it caused him to blush as well. “Does he know?” Jonghyun asked suddenly. “Does who know what?” Key replied. Jonghyun smirked “Does Chansung know your talking to me?” Jonghyun asked. Key chuckled. “No, he doesn’t know.” Jonghyun had that worry feeling in his gut, “will you guys argue if he found out?” The older asked again. “Probably,” Key replied lowly. Then the younger said, “what about you, does Sekyung know you’re talking to me?” Jonghyun leaning against the door of his house, “no, she thinks that I’m taking calls from work.” Key chuckled, “you never do that.” Jonghyun smiled, “she doesn’t know that.”

Jonghyun chuckled, “I’m sure you know why.” Key smirked, “Sekyung near by?” He asked. “Yep.” He heard Jonghyun reply. “Hey Key…” Jonghyun began, he sounded so nervous, almost like the time that the older was going to confess. “Yes?” Key replied. “I miss you.” Key smiled, “Hearing my voice isn’t enough?” Jonghyun turned serious then, “no, its not.” Key went the food court after shopping phone still on his ear, “Jonghyun.” Was he serious?
