Chapter 16: That was mean of the majority of the students to poke fun at Hyunwoo for his appearance. Because that's how she used to dress herself, she understands him and what it's like to be bullied. She's really got nerve to speak up to the whole class to get them to leave Hyunwoo alone. That's a kind gesture coming from her of becoming friends with him. It's good that she's made a new friend. It makes Myungsoo jealous to see her getting close with another guy. Hyunwoo's presence seems to have driven Myungsoo to do his best at academics in order to prove himself to her. He wants to show her that he can do just as well as Hyunwoo can in school by being studious and hardworking. It's nice that he's working hard to get positive affirmation from her even though he doesn't like or care about school. This is the turning point for him where he could be changing little by little for the better. It looks like you're using Hyunwoo as a catalyst for Myungsoo's character development.

* The definite article "the" should be added at the very beginning of the sentence to specify the subject.

It's understandable that your studies is your first priority. That could be distracting when you really ned to focus on studying for the exams.

I can see that you're improving much on the grammar since I'm seeing even less mistakes this time. Keep up the good work!

I haven't gotten around to watching the drama yet, so I'm not familiar with the Hyunwoo that you're mentioning.
