Ever since they became neighbors, Lee Taemin has always admired the school kingka: Choi Minho. Despite being ignored by him during daylight hours, the two constantly chat with each other through the comforts of their bedroom windows every night before going to bed. It blossomed into a growing friendship and one night, Taemin realized that he had fallen head over heels for the school's soccer captain.

However, the songwriter knew he didn't stand a chance over the school's queenka: Kwon Yuri.

She wears short skirts,

I wear t-shirts,

She's cheer captain,

and I'm on the bleachers.

Sadly, Minho had a girlfriend. The two were the "it couple" of Seoul High School despite the countless arguements they had over the phone, causing Minho grief. Even though it hurt Taemin to see the older upset, he didn't mind much, since this meant Minho would have more time to talk to him.
The next day however, the couple would make up and Taemin would release his grievences by writing love songs about him; in hopes that one day, Choi Minho would realize that they belonged together.
