Jessica’s POV

It’s now one week since I confessed Sunny, we have talked many things, and I keep trying to make her feel something for me. I saw her walking down the hallway, reading the new letter I left for her. Yes, I keep leaving her messages.

Today I will invite her to the park, to eat ice-cream, talk about random things, what the sunset, I don’t know… everything just to be with her

I entered my classroom, and settled on my chair

“Guys, tomorrow will start the expositions for the project, so I hope you already have it” the teacher told us. I finished it 2 days ago, I don’t need to hurry

“We are going to be in the same room with Sunny” “no, with Yuri” I heard some boys started to talk. I chuckled, they don’t have a possibility

-First recess-

I went out of the room to look for Sunny. I saw her getting her books. I went to help her

“Hey, I will help you” I took her books

“No, it’s not necessary” She blushed. She has being blushing so much lately

“Yeah, it is” We started to walk to her classroom

We talked simple things, while walking. It’s now a routine to ask something even if it’s not important. It makes us to know more about each other. But she is still shy, so almost of the time, it is me who start the conversation.

I left the books on her chair.

“Thanks” she smiled

“Emm… I was wondering if you have time today in the afternoon” I asked her

“Mmm… yes, why?”

“I was thinking if you want to go with me to the park?”

“Of course, I will go with you”

Sunny’s POV

Jessica went for me, in her car. We were talking about school (what a topic to talk about, but I didn’t know what to ask her). Since the day she confessed I thought it would be awkward for the both of us, but it wasn’t. I feel more comfortable around her.

We arrived at the park, and she keeps telling me jokes.

“Do you want an ice cream?” she asked all of sudden

I nodded

She insisting that she will paid for it, after a few more times, I gave in.

Then we went to sit in the swings

She laughed

“What?”

“We look like little kids” she kept laughing

“Yes, you know, sometimes I want to return to my childhood, and forget all the teenagers’ problems” I ate my ice cream

“Mmm… really?” she seem to be in deep thought –“I know! I can push if you want”

“What? Haha, no it’s ok” I smiled

“You sure? Maybe you will regret it later” she stood up

I thought for a moment

“Come on, it will be fun”

“Ok, do it”

She jumped like a little kid and went behind me “Ready?”

She seem more excited than me “Yes, go”

She started to push me, and it started to take force

We started to laugh

It’s good to be with a person who I can enjoy her company

After a moment, we moved to sit under a tree

“Can I ask you something?” Jessica suddenly talked

“Yes, anything”

“How is your ideal type?”

WHAT?!

Jessica’s POV

What kind of question was that? But I wanted to know

“Emm… ideal?” she started to be nervous, she inhaled “Well, intelligent, funny, that she isn’t the typical person who only want to grab everyone attention, caring, who understand my problems, like a friend… mmm” She kept thinking

“Well, I’m intelligent (Not that much, but I am), funny, I’m your friend and I would be there for you anytime” I smiled

She blushed “OK…”

Silence

We kept watching the sunset, but to be honest, I only watched her.

“How have you being doing with you math classes?” Sunny asked me

“Excellent, the teacher told me I have improved” I smiled to her “Thanks to you”

“Mmm, so I’m a good tutor” she said proudly

“Yes, you are” I pinched her cheeks

“Yah… don’t do that” she pouted

I laughed “You are cute”

“Emm… thanks?”

“Really! I mean, you are cute, but at the same time cool” I lean closer to her

And she blushed “Yeah” that’s the only thing she muttered

“Let’s go, it’s getting late” I stood up and extended my hand to her

She grabbed it and stood up “Ok, thank you for the day” she thanked me

I smiled and kissed her right cheek “Whenever you want”
