Jessica’s POV

I’m in the bathroom of the school, trying to erase the uneasy feeling in me.

Nervous

That’s how I feel.

I couldn’t think anything else, well, just one thing, a person, Sunny

Maybe she is already outside. Waiting to see me, waiting for me to win, but I think that’s not going to happen

I looked at my reflection on the mirror, and I fixed my hair, trying to make it look better for the judge

“What the **** did you do?!” I heard Hyomin’s voice shouting to one of her ‘friends’

I sighed, and fixed my hair again. This is desperating!!

Nervous

“Hey, good luck on the contest” Sunhwa patted my shoulder

“Thank you, you too” I smiled to her

This time I fixed my dress

Agh, come on, think on something else!...

Chocolates, cherries, ice cream, math… Sunny … I need to calm

“Girls it’s time” the psychologist came to advise us

OK, I’m officially nervous

Sunny’s POV

I was walking everywhere trying to look for Jessica’s cheers. I was wearing a t-shirt with Jessica’s name on it.

“Okay, when it’s her time, we are going to scream out yours lungs” I explained and everyone nodded

“Now, ladies and gentleman, ours girls!”

The lights focused on the girls who were coming out.

Hyomin, Sunhwa, Hyuna… and Jessica

I forgot to scream. I practically frozen

My mind went complete white

All I could muttered was “Woow”

(She was wearing the MAMA’s 2011 dress)

“Yah!, stop drooling and cheer” Yuri jabbed me

Jessica found my gaze and smiled shyly.

My God, what kind of dress is that? But she looks…

I need to stop thinking that

Jessica’s POV

We walked down the runway, and I found Sunny with opened

Haha, was she surprised?

Well, I choose this dress for make an impression on her. And I think it worked

The contest continued normally, the dance part came and we positioned on our places. I don’t like the dance steps, but what can I do?

I should be proud to represent my classroom. I looked again to Sunny, she was discussing something with Yuri and Sooyoung.

We moved to do the chair thing, and almost everyone cheered. Sunny was smiling brightly

-Minutes later-

“And now, the final cheers” the principal was trying to organize everyone.

Everyone cheered a lot for Hyomin, almost the half of the people. I bet she paid for them

It was my turn. And the big crowd cheered. I could see Sunny, Yuri, and Sooyoung jumping like little kids trying to draw attention.

“Ok, so the result is” the judge started to make a private talk, and the English teacher handed to the principal a piece of paper

I felt nervous, I don’t expect to win, plus making this makes me feel proud, and it will be a happy moment to remember.

“So now… the winner is…” God, I hate when people make suspense

“Is…” the psychologist helped too

“Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls…” I’m going to kill the principal if he doesn’t say it now.

“The winner is Hyomin!” the big crowd of her cheered

I looked at Sunny and she gave me a thump up with a smile

“Congratulations, Hyomin” I hugged her

“Jessi” I heard my name being called so I turned around

Sunny’s POV

I couldn’t believe that Jessica didn’t win; she was perfect, glamorous and intelligent when the questions part came

I went to her and called her

“Jessi” she turned around and widens her eyes

I handed her a bouquet of flowers and she blushed. I smiled and hugged her “You did great, don’t worry”

I separated and was about to tell her something when someone pulled me away

“Sunny ̴  ̴” It was Hyomin “I get first place” she hugged me instantly

“Oh, emm… congrats” I said awkwardly

“You don’t have a present for me?” she was still hugging me

“Emm… no, sorry”

“why?” she leaned closer to me

God, Why me?!

Hyomin pulled Sunny away from me, and I could see how she was flirting with her.

Why Sunny have to be so pretty and charming, that everyone wants her?

If only I were her girlfriend, I will make her the happiest girl in the world
