The world was gone, not in the sense that no life lived there but in the sense that there were no longer countries. Everything was ruled by an oligarchy, better known as the rich rule all, only because they still had everything. Turns out man kind was not meant to make nuclear bombs and this was the result. South Korea got lucky, they had not been hit directly and while China had been, most of the dust had settled in North Korea, making it unlivable. South Korea suffered some damage, some of the water was dangerous and there were many areas where food could not be grown, anyone who owned a greenhouse was usually safe, but only if it had been built before the war. After the start of the war many people had fled to southern areas like Mokpo and Changwon, most of the people left in Seoul were gangs and the elderly, some families remained but most had fled. And while Seoul wasn’t far from North Korea people still lived there, surprisingly many did not get sick but then again people were smart enough to know what was safe and what wasn’t. Tap water was considered safe, it did have some radiation in it but not enough to kill a person, it was only enough to make someone rather sick. Most of the elderly died off quickly but there were a few young who seemed to be strong enough to live on, everyday was a struggle but the people of the world seemed determined not to give up yet.
