The first time was a year after Arashi was formed. 

Nino was a young, crazy, and insane teenager when Arashi was formed. The only person he even remotely knew out of the five there was Aiba, so he didn't know if he could really trust anyone else yet. 

The one person that kept grabbing his attention was the one asleep-looking eighteen year-old Ohno Satoshi. He was calm, understanding, and acted way beyond his age, which made Nino curious. But because Ohno was two years older than Nino, he wasn't sure how to approach him. He was afraid that if he approached Ohno then he would get scolded by Sho or by someone else.

He didn't realize that he actually liked Ohno until he tried his experiment. 

The five of them were on tour, and Nino and Ohno just happened to be sharing a hotel room together. Ohno was quiet as usual looking through a magazine on his bed, and Nino played on his Gameboy on his bed. Despite trying to focus on his game, Nino couldn't concentrate and found himself looking at Ohno. "Ohno-san," Nino spoke up after a while.

"Hm?" Ohno asked without looking up from his magazine. 

Nino felt his blood temperature rise and his heart quicken his beat as he asked. "Is there anyone you like?" When Ohno didn't answer, he elaborated. "Like... as in a girlfriend."

Ohno was quiet for a minute before he answered. "Not really," he said. "Why? Is there someone you like?"

Yeah, I think it might be you, NIno thought. "No," he said. "Not really."

Sometimes, Nino had no idea why he trusted Aiba.

A few years after they debuted, Aiba couldn't help but notice that Ohno and Nino were getting close, and sometimes ended up holding hands or touching each other in some way. Ohno didn't seem to mind, and Nino loved how it made his heart skip beats and how it made him comfortable.

"Are you gay?" Aiba asked Nino one day when it was just the two of them at lunch.

Nino nearly choked on his bite of food when his friend asked. "What the hell kinda question is that?!" he nearly yelled when he could breath again. 

"I'm just asking," Aiba said innocently. "You should confess to him."

"Like I can do that, baka," Nino said. "You make it sound simple."

"So you are gay!"

"Don't raise your voice like that! There are people here!"

"SORRY!" Aiba exclaimed. "I'm just saying. If you like him you should tell him."

Nino frowned because he knew that Aiba was right. "If you tell anyone about this conversation, I'll kill you," Nino threatened.

That afternoon, Ohno was in his usual seat on the couch in the lounge. Nino went and sat next to him nervously. "Oh-chan?"

"Hm?" Ohno asked as he drew something. 

"Can I ask you something?" 

"Hm?"

Nino hesitated as he tried to figure out how to say this. "Well... we've known each other for a few years, right? And you know how I like to hang around you and hold hands and stuff like that?"

Ohno stopped and looked at Nino. "What?"

"What I mean to say is--" Nino began to say something, but the eager and gentle look that Ohno gave him stopped him. He loved this man, and Nino knew he could never forgive himself if he ruined the friendship he had with Ohno. "I want to say thank you," is what Nino said instead. "Thank you for being my friend and making me feel comfortable."

Ohno looked like he was expecting something else, but smiled a little when he realized Nino was done. "You're welcome," he said before going back to his drawing.

Nino laid his head on Ohno's shoulder. "Whacha drawing?"

Somehow, Nino's third attempt at a confession turned into one of the greatest and craziest ideas ever for fanservice.

"You know, a lot of fans seem to think you two are destined for each other," Sho told Ohno and Nino one day as they were about to head home. He eyed Nino, and Nino made a silent note to kill Aiba. 

"Really?" Ohno asked. 

"Yeah, there's a lot of fan blogs and forums that say you two are going out. There's even some fanfiction out there that's pretty good."

"What are you doing reading fanfiction?" Nino asked the older man.

Sho shrugged. "I was curious."

When he, Aiba, and Jun had left, leaving just Nino and Ohno alone, Nino considered confessing. Ohno looked like he was about ready to fall asleep though, and he wondered if he would even react well to it. "Oh-chan," Nino spoke up. "I have a question."

"What?" Ohno asked.

"Do you like anyone?" Nino dared to ask. He had no idea what he would say after that.

"Not really," Ohno answered again.

Nino couldn't help but smile. "I see," he said turning around to avoid looking at Ohno for a minute so he could get ready to confess.

"Why?"

"Because," Nino said turning around, but he was surprised to see that Ohno was looking at him curiously. And Nino lost his words and said the first thing that came to mind. "I have an idea."

Thus Ohmiya SK was born.

It had always been Nino's dream to go to Hollywood. To be a world-known actor. To walk on the same red carpet that so many famous people before him had done paving their way to stardom.

He couldn't believe that it would actually be happening though.

"I get to go to Hollywood," is how he broke the news to everyone. "I got the part in that war movie about Iwo Jima."

Sho and Jun looked happy for him, but Aiba and Ohno looked shocked. It was weird seeing Ohno like that because most of the time he would've just stared straight forward like he wasn't listening. "How long will you be gone?" Aiba asked for him.

"About two months," Nino answered. "It'll be a long time, but I'll be back before you know it. I promise." 

He could tell that Ohno looked shocked, but he tried to be happy for his friend. 

Being apart from Arashi was probably one of the hardest things that Nino had ever had to do. Every minute he was away from them, he missed them more. He missed Jun smacking the back of his head everytime he said something stupid. He missed Aiba's random comments that had absolutely nothing to do with what they were doing. He missed Sho acting like the smart- he was and doing the completly goofy things he did when absolutely neccessary. And Ohno...

He missed everything about Ohno. He missed his warmth, his spaced out look, and most of all his presence that calmed everyone. Nino was on edge the whole time he was working, and he longed to be near Ohno again just to calm him down. 

So this is love, Nino thought.

Finally, Nino was on his way home. When his plane landed and he got to the gate, he was greeting with four pairs of arms suddenly wrapping themselves around him. "Okaeri!" the four Arashi members called.

Nino laughed. "Tadaima!" Everyone then let go so that Nino could give them each individual hugs.

"Baka!" Jun said smacking Nino's head playfully. Nino was glad he had remembered to remove his rings before doing so. "Don't ever leave us like that again."

"We missed you," Sho told him. "Next time you decide to do something like that again, take us with you."

"You're home!" Aiba exclaimed hugging Nino. "We missed you so much! I took good care of your apartment for you and I didn't even touch your games or your playstation. I took good care of everything."

"Thanks Aiba-chan," Nino said before turning his attention to Ohno. Ohno shuffled his feet a little before looking up at Nino. "Did you miss me?"

"Of course," Ohno told him. "It was terrible without you here."

Nino smirked before finally throwing his arms around Ohno's neck and holding on. Ohno wrapped his arms around his torso securely, but Nino silently wished that they had wrapped around his waist instead. "Oh-chan?" Nino said after a minute in his embrace.

"Hm?" Ohno asked. 

I love you. Nino wanted to badly to say it. He felt it on his tongue, and his whole brain was telling him to say it. Just say it already! You know you want to! But then the idea of ruining his friendship with Ohno came back, and he forced himself to keep his tongue. "I'm happy to be home," Nino said instead.

He heard Ohno smirk. "Yeah, me too."

Buses are always fun to hang out in. They're loud, they're big, and so much fun when you have five of the craziest people on the planet in one together. 

Arashi had had their fun. They were taking the bus alone back to the hotel, and after they had used up the rest of their energy freaking out and breaking out into random dance, almost everyone had fallen asleep. Nino seemed to be the only one left awake. Aiba had his head on Sho's shoulder in the seat behind Nino, and Sho had carefully laid his head on top of Aiba's. Matsujun had his own seat and had his legs laying across the other one as he laid against the window in front of Nino, and Ohno was next to Nino with his head in Nino's lap asleep. 

Nino had always thought that Ohno looked beautiful when he was asleep.

Carefully, so he didn't wake him, Nino bent down and carefully kissed Ohno on the forehead. "I'd never do that if you were awake," he whispered to Ohno. "I love you Oh-chan, and as much as I wish I could say that when you're awake, I don't think I can. You mean too much to me."

Ohno stirred a little, and Nino froze afraid that Ohno wasn't really asleep. When Ohno didn't do anything that meant he was awake, Nino thought he had gotten away with it.

When they got to the hotel and everyone was awake, Ohno looked at Nino as they got off the bus. "Did you say something?" he asked.

Nino felt his heart stop, but he shook his head. "No, why?"

"I just thought I heard you say something."

It had been a long day, and Nino wanted nothing more than to crash on the couch and fall asleep. And he did. He didn't even bother to change clothes when he got to the lounge. He just crashed and curled into a ball with his head on the armrest of the couch. It was very comfortable.

Ten minutes after laying on the couch, Nino heard someone sit next to the couch in front of him. "Nino," he heard Ohno say as he felt Ohno's hand move some of his hair out of the way. "Are you really asleep?"

Nino didn't move. He pretended being asleep just to see what Ohno was going to say. He knew the feeling of being able to say what you think when the other person's asleep. 

"I heard you in my dream," Ohno said. "On the bus. I don't know if it was real or not, but I felt you.... You said that you loved me but was afraid to ruin our friendship.... I know that a lot of people think that me and you are going out already, and for years I've been wishing the same thing. Everytime you looked like you wanted to say something, you'd say something else. Everytime you asked me if I liked anyone, I'd have to lie. You're very confusing and spoiled and mischievous, but I love you.... I hope you hear this Nino. I love you."

Nino couldn't believe he was hearing this. Ohno loved him? Was it real? Was he wasting so many years out of fear of ruining a friendship when both of them had the same feelings for each other? God, he was stupid.

Then he felt Ohno's hand lay gently on his cheek, and he felt Ohno's lips press against his gently for a minute. It was small and tender, and Nino wondered if it had really happened or not.

When he felt Ohno pull away, without opening his eyes, Nino grabbed his wrist making him stop. He felt Ohno freeze, and finally Nino opened his eyes to look at Ohno. He looked shocked and his face turned red from embarrassment, but he didn't make any attempt to stand up or move away from Nino. He knew he was caught.

"We've both been kinda stupid haven't we?" Nino chuckled. "You have no idea how many times I wanted to tell you the exact same thing you just told me."
