Yoo Jin POV

Graduation came just like a wind. Before I know it, I’m on the plane, going to the Philippines. I tried to erase what

happened to that masquerade ball. But a smile appeared to my lips when I remember that time. When I got home.

~Flashback~

I went out of the taxi, started to walk towards our house. When someone put an arm on my shoulders. In an impulse I

jerk the arms and stomp my foot to his. “ouch! Yah yoo jin!” I was startled when I saw Jonghun oppa limping out of

pain. “mian jonghun oppa, I didn’t know. And it’s your fault. You scared me” I reasoned and help him to sit on the

nearest bench. “it’s okay. At least I know you can protect yourself for a possible .” Jonghun oppa said while

massaging his injured foot. I can’t help but to giggle. He looks so cute. “by the way, why are you late? And what’s with

the dress?” he asked. I twirl infront of him. “I went to the masquerade ball in the university. It’s not my thing so I just

go home. I’m still early compare to ji yeon and myungsoo.”I explained. “tsk.. you look pretty. Where’s your glasses?”he

asked. I blushed with the first one he said. He said I’m pretty. “ji yeon broke it. I’m now in contacts but I’m not used to

it.” I pouted. “okay, tomorrow we will get you another one. Just don’t let ji yeon see it.” he said and winked at me. He

walked me to the main door, “well sleep tight my jin-ah. Goodnight!” he waved and walks towards their home.

“goodnight my hunnie, saranghaeyo oppa..” I whispered and went inside.

“good thing something like that happened that night” yoo jin said while looking for her seat until she bumps into

someone. “oops! Mian!” she said and bowed. “aiisshh! Can you watch where you are going?” the guy said annoyed. 

~”who does he think he is?”~ yoo jin thought.  “excuse me, ma’am please be seated we are ready to take off.” The

stewardess politely asked. She nod and saw where she is seated. She rolled her eyes because beside her will be the

annoying guy.

Minhyuk POV

A week without my nagging sister. Ha! Good thing she is busy with the business she didn’t know I’m gone. Oh? The

clumsy girl. Tsk. I have to endure hours with this girl beside me. “excuse me, Ms. Can I have some magazines here.” I

called up on the stewardess while flashing my captivating smile. She blinked, got yah! I laughed inside. “sure sir.

Anything else?” the stewardess asked totally mesmerized by my presence. I pulled down my sun glasses to have a

better look on her. Not my type but she’ll do. “none at the moment. Thank you very much.” I said then sat comfortably.

Yoo Jin POV

Ha! Is he flirting with this stewardess, tsch! I glance at him, sure he looks good but definitely not my type. Jonghun

oppa is way so much better than him. I scoff. He looks at me. Did I scoff that loud? Did he saw me looking at him? I

glance again, he is looking at me, he smirks and looks away. My jaw drop mentally, did he just think I like him? The

nerve of this guy. I rolled my eyes and took a book from my small bag. I need to read this travel guide. Though its my

second time in the Philippines I still have to read this. Just in case. I’m going to Subic again. I remember when eonnie

and her husband minho oppa lived there. The place is so wonderful. A lot of beaches and the people are so kind. In my

2 week stay I adapt the language. It’s not that hard. “hi, are you Korean?” a lady sitting beside me asked. “yes. You?” I

asked. “I’m filifino” she replied. “oh, hello! Kamusta? (how are you?)” I asked in an instant. Well, I should practice right?

“oh! You speak tagalog?” she asked. “a little. My sister lived in subic 2 years ago.” I answered in english. Me and my

love for foreign language.

Minhyuk POV

“ako nga pala si yoo jin shim. Ikaw?” (my name is shim yoo jin. You?) the girl beside me said. Honestly I’m impress, she

can talk Philippine language even though it’s a bit slang. This girl yoo jin and the other girl kept on talking for like 30

minutes. I can’t seem to understand some of their conversation. “I’ll be staying at Lighthouse resort.” Yoo jin said. Oh!

What a coincidence, I’ll be staying there too. After that they became quiet. I looked at them just curious; I saw the

other girl sleeping, and this yoo jin girl is reading something. She glance at me, I was startled, so I look away. She went

back on reading, I tried to look at her from the side of my eye. She is dosing off. Then I felt something fell on my

shoulders. I looked on that side. I saw her sleeping, her book fell on the flooring. I pick it up and read the title. “travel

guide” I scoff, is this the first time she travel? But based on what I heard, she visited her sister then. Yah! When did I

turn to be a gossiper? I carefully placed the book on her lap and moved her on the seat.

After a few hours, “good day passengers this is your captain speaking. We just arrived at Clark Airport, Welcome to

the Philippines.” “asa! I’m here.” Yoo jin uttered. Minhyuk looked at her and rolled his eyes under his rayban. After

getting their stuff, they all went out off the plane. Yoo jin got her luggage and went to the waiting area for her service.

“nice meeting you yoo jin. Hope you’ll enjoy your stay.” The girl who is named angel said to yoo jin. “nice meeting you

too angel. Thanks” yoo jin replied in pure tagalog. They waved goodbye with eachother. There when yoo jin spot a lady

holding a placard of the hotel and her name. She approached the lady. “hi, ako si yoo jin Shim. (hi, I’m shim yoo jin)”

“oh! Your tagalog is good ma’am. Welcome to the Philippines, I’m Sheryl.”yoo jin bowed to her and so as Sheryl. “yow!

Sorry I’m late. Kang Min hyuk Imida” minhyuk appeared on the otherside. Yoo jin eyes wided. Of all hotels in subic why

does he have to be in the same as hers. “uhm, ms. Yoo jin, I don’t understand Korean. Can you translate what he

said?” Sheryl asked. Minhyuk looked at them confused.

Yoo jin forced a smile. “he said sorry he is late. He is kang min hyuk.” Yoo jin translate. “oh, can you tell him, it’s okay,

and I can’t speak Korean, English will be fine.”yoo jin and Sheryl spoke in tagalog. Minhyuk is starting to be annoyed.

~what the hell is with this two?~ he thought. “Kang min hyuk ssi, ms. Sheryl here said that it’s okay. And she can’t

speak Korean, English will be just fine” yoo jin explained looking at minhyuk. Minhyuk scoff, “great, a tour guide for

Korean who doesn’t know how to speak the language.” Minhyuk uttered. Yoo jin nervously yanked him. “yah! Can you

be more considerate.” Yoo jin asked. Minhyuk eyed the hands that are clinging on his sleeves. Seeing that yoo jin

immediately removed her hands. “for being Korean, I’ll be your interpreter for now. Is that alright with you?” yoo jin

asked. Well she can’t let her fellow Korean be in trouble. Minhyuk gave up. “sure! I’m just talk to the hotel management

later.” He said. Yoo Jin Smiled at Sheryl. “lets go!” Sheryl said while smiling.
