Headline #1: “SM Entertainment To Debut Another Group.”

After EXO K and M’s MAMA promotion, SM Entertainment’s current CEO, Kim Youngmin, has announced that the company is yet to debut another group. This time, it’s a girl group. He said that their concept would be closely related to EXO’s but they’re not quite their female counterparts. He didn’t say when they would reveal the group, but he said that it’s soon and everybody should anticipate.

The fans are both excited and disappointed, with the girl group’s debut; the members of EXO might be shoved aside. But this would be another motivation for EXO to work harder, right?

KID LEADER

Mika is from Busan and was casted after a representative of SM Entertainment had watched her perform on school for their school festival. Being short and a kid at heart despite being the oldest of the members, she’s known as the choding.

FASHIONISTA DANCE MACHINE

Ahn Hye, known as Anne, is the group’s fashionista and cook. Her love for clothes is just as much as she loves dancing. She just started dancing after seeing a performance of Super Junior and has been casted through SM Entertainment’s 2008 Casting System. She’s known as the group’s mother.

POKER FACE MAKNAE

Kimin is also born from Busan but she grew up overseas, thus, earning the stage name Katrina which is her English name. She’s the group’s jack of all trades for she’s good at singing, rapping, and also at dancing. Don’t be deceived by the maknae’s straight face because the truth is, she can act just as childish as Mika.

ICE PRINCESS

Shin is the group’s visual and one of the lead vocalists. When you first meet her, you might get scared because of the cold glares she casts at people she doesn’t know. But when you become close to her, she really has a caring heart and that’s why the members love her.

BOYISH MOODMAKER

Despite having a gorgeous face, Jina doesn’t like being girlish. Because of that, she had cut off her long hair and is now sporting a short hairstyle. She is the group’s lead vocalist.
