It has been almost a year since I finally accepted Wooyoung's confession. It was not easy for me to accept him because we were both rising celebrities and this relationship could affect the both of us negatively. That's why we decided to keep it a secret to everyone, even to the members of 2PM who see him every day.

But I was getting tired of this secret relationship. We could not be together when we want to and we could only talk through cellphone.

"Why? Is it because you're embarrassed of me?" I know that wasn't the reason Wooyoung insisted our relationship to be a secret but I just can't think of any other excuse to use against him.

"No! No, you know that's not why I don't want to." He cupped my face, asking me to look at him. I know once I looked at him, I would fall for his begging eyes. That's why my eyes stayed glued to his t-shirt instead.

"You're going to use our image being ruined as an excuse again. Wooyoung, we're human! Is it bad for us to fall in love just because we're both celebrities?"

"Please understand me, Jieun. You know I love you." With my face still between his hands, he slowly lifted my face, making eye contact with me.

When Wooyoung didn't move or talk, I sighed before finally releasing myself from him, "I'm leaving. Bye, Wooyoung."

"Jieun-ah. We're planning on having a special stage for next week's broadcast. Are you up for it?" The PD said one day when he called me.

"Sure, will I be doing it alone?" I asked, curious. Usually, the PD would not let me do a special stage alone and I know this was one of those moments.

"No, you'll be doing it with 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung. You already know each other, right? It won't be uncomfortable for you anymore." I shivered as the name of Wooyoung was mentioned. Why oh why does it have to be with them?

Since that day of our fight, we've never contacted each other. More like, it was me who didn't answer his calls.

"Jieun-ah?"

"Y-Yeah, sure..." I nervously replied.

"By the way, you can choose the song. A song that would fit your voice as well as Wooyoung's vocal and Taecyeon's rapping."

A song that would fit us? Different songs flashed accross my mind but as this one specific song popped in my head, I knew it was the one.

"Well, I'll contact 2PM's manager about this. Practice starts on Wednesday." I gulped. Wednesday was just two days away. I'm going to meet Wooyoung in two days.

"IU! We meet again. I was so excited when the manager told us we'd be singing with you." Taecyeon happily greeted me Wednesday afternoon at the practice room.

"Hi, Ji--- IU." He awkwardly greeted.

"IU, let's start again, okay?" Taecyeon smiled at me. I simply nodded and the practice continued.

As soon as Taecyeon left the practice room to buy food for us, Wooyoung looked up from his phone. "Jieun-ah."

I shifted from my seat awkwardly, not liking where this conversation would lead us.

"Jieun-ah. Please talk to me." Hurt was evident in his voice and I could not hold it any longer. I slowly turned to look at him.

"Oppa, I'm sorry." I whispered loud enough for him to hear.

"You don't have to say sorry, Jieun. I understand you." He slowly stood up to take the seat beside me, his eyes never leaving mine.

"Jieun-ah. If revealing our relationship is what you want, the---" We heard the door open and a shocked Taecyeon came into view.

"Oppa, it's my fault. I was the one who told him not to tell anyone." I finally spoke, feeling that I should do something to cool down Taecyeon's disappointment.

"I'm not mad at the two of you. I'm just disappointed that you didn't trust me enough." Taecyeon sighed before finally turning around to look at us. A laugh escaped from his lips and we looked at him in confusion.

"Sorry, you two just looked like you were about to be sentenced to death." He wiped the tears forming in his eyes from laughter. "I forgive you two, but... what are you going to do?"

"I plan on confessing to everyone about our relationship." I looked at Wooyoung, surprised. Was this what he wanted to say a while ago?

"Oppa..." I called him, worry unable to hide itself in my voice.

"Jieun-ah, don't worry. I'll handle everything." He gave me an encouraging smile, that smile he gave me the first time we met, that smile he gave me that melted my heart in a flash.

"Wooyoung, Jieun, are you prepared to face the criticizing eyes of the public?" Taecyeon asked us in his unusually serious voice.

"Yes, I am prepared." Wooyoung held my hand and squeezed it lightly.

"Oppa..." I whispered.

I was suddenly nervous about revealing our relationship. All the possible outcome of our revelation flashed through my mind like a movie. Scandals all over the news, criticism spread around, expectations broken, reputation ruined. All the things we've worked hard for, all the things we gave up for our dream, everything will be for nothing. Is everything worth losing just because our relationship was revealed? Am I prepared to lose that? Is Wooyoung really prepared for that?

"Oppa, let's not do this anymore..."

"Then you guys will have to continue with your secret act or else the media will blow things out of proportion once they find out about your relationship." Taecyeon advised us.

"I'll leave you two alone for a while, talk things out. Call me when you're done." And then Taecyeon was gone.

He pulled me closer and embraced me tightly, his warmth comforting every nerve inside me.

"If that's what you want." He said before planting a kiss on my forehead, a kiss so sweet and comforting.
