How Long has it been since Na Miyoung has seen her daughter? The day she was born.

Kim Myungsoo has recently divorced his wife, Sunny, because he's found out that she's not the biological mother of his daughter, Lauren. He's asked his parents for the hand of his daughter's real mother, in an attempt to keep her happy. Na Miyoung without hesitation accepts the offer, just to be with her daughter. Miyoung signs the papers and moves in with Myungsoo and Lauren. All could have been happy, except Myungsoo is conceited, controlling player. He only wants Miyoung to act like he and her are a happy couple around Lauren, who wants to have a happy family.

Miyoung can't help but fall for his personality, but Myungsoo isn't feeling the same way. Myungsoo still sleeps with her and later on tells Miyoung he has no feelings for her. She is heartbroken, but will still go on with the plan Myungsoo has given her to keep their daughter happy. Lee Joon, Miyoung's best friend soon takes notice of Myungsoo's fake love towards her. He's taking this as an opportunity to make her fall for him and finally leave the dictator that Woohyun is.

But... The thing is, Myungsoo is slowly starting to fall for her.
