Description
Choi Sooyoung is a happy-go-lucky girl :) Despite all the happenings in her life, she still manages to look on the bright side of the spectrum and live life to her fullest. Her mother had recently remarried after being alone for five years (after the death of Sooyoung's father). Her mother and step-father were on their way back home from their honeymoon when their plane crashed due to an unexpected storm and died. After the death of her parents, Sooyoung struggles to make a living for herself and for her older brother, Donghae. Despite being the older of the two, Donghae is unable to hold a job due to his intense love and passion for music. He is overprotective of his sister and feels apologetic towards her for not being able to assist her financially. Sooyoung constantly juggles between a number of jobs and tries her best to keep her grades up in school. With such a busy schedule, there seems to be no room for romance. However, love begins to bloom with the arrivial of the new student, Kim Jonghyun. This slice of life romance centers around the day-to-day life of Choi Sooyoung as she manages to make the best out of each situation that comes her way. This story also touches on the rivalry that exists between Donghae, Yong Junhyung (Sooyoung's best friend), and Kim Jonghyun for the attention and love of Sooyoung. It also revovles around the journey of each character as they learn and grow up. Along they way, some learn to love, some experience heartbreak, and some face failures. Each character deals with their current situation their own way.

-Becomes instant friends with Sooyoung

~Ring, Ring, Ring~
"Hello? :)"
"Hello. Is this the Choi household?"
"Yes this is! May I know who this is I am speaking to?"
"I am Doctor Kim from the Seoul Hospital."
Hospital. I suddenly felt a heavy weight weighing down upon my chest.
"Are you perhaps Ms. Choi Sooyoung?"
"...Yes...Yes, I am Choi Sooyoung...Is there...something wrong?"
"I...I'm sorry to inform you this but, your parents were involved in a plane crash...The impact was so huge that they died on the spot. I am truly, sincerely sorry for your loss Ms. Sooyoung."
My heart sank and I couldn't breathe. I could feel tears stream down my cheeks as I hung up the phone.
No. No. No. This, this can't be! How could this happen?
Right then, I heard keys jingling outside. I wacthed as the door knob turn and when I saw Donghae oppa come in through the front door, I began to sob harder, unable to contain my tears.
When Donghae oppa looked up and saw me crying, he immediately walked towards me and asked me, "What's wrong Soo? Why are you crying?"
I stood there for about half an hour, crying, as I tried to process what I had just learned. All the while, Donghae oppa just stood there, embracing me, silently. He gently patted my back with one hand and my hair with the other. After about another 30 minutes of silence, I spoke.
"Hae oppa..."
