"li wen..." a girl waved to li wen and she replied with a bashful smile. School new term have just started

"hi Mia, good morning" li wen smiled to her greet

"ready for a gruesome year?" Mia teased

"ready than ever"

 

 

This year was their last year of high school year, they really have to studyhard to complete their end of the year examination, which was slightly overwhelming them

“Oh look Li Wen, he is here, I mean they are here” Mia pointed with his eyes on two guys who just entered in “Nam Woo Hyun and Kim Sung Kyu”

“Oh…” she nodded. Nam Woo Hyun and Kim Sung Kyu were so called famous students from their school. They were Koreans and they entered the school last year. A few of their cliques and younger than them have entered the school a year earlier than them and it caused a hype to the school

“You are lucky to be able to get close to Lee Sung Jong” Mia pouted

“He is just a loveable junior, you know my sister is like 24/7 drooling over him” Li Wen snickered. Her sister, Li Yin was in the same class as Lee Sung Jong

“Prefect again this year?” Mia asked as Li Wen put her Prefect badge on her uniform

“You know that it is my ambition since Sec 1” She smiled “You know I am mean”

“Whatever” she rolled her eyes “I am going for meeting, see you later” Li Wen then later went to the meeting room for a prefect meeting

“Boo…” someone surprised Mia and she clutched her left side of her chest

“STOP BEING SO ERTED NAM WOO HYUN!” Mia yelled out of a sudden

“Ehey….you know me that well” He showed a greasy smile to her

“Where is your soulmate?” Mia asked

“You are my soulmate” he circled her arm around her shoulder and she slapped his hand

“Out for prefect meeting” He said and rubbed the place where Mia slapped him on

“He is a prefect now!?” She said in surprise

“The principal told him last year before the school ended, he was so happy and he disciplined us a lot, specially Sung Yeol and Sung Jong” Woo Hyun said

“That’s good” Mia said

“So…lunch date for today?” he asked greasily

“YAH NAM WOO HYUN!”

“Welcome to all the chosen prefects” The principal opened the prefect meeting “It will be another gruesome journeys for the prefects, so I hope all of you can do well”

“The teachers and myself have joined our heads and we have decided on the new Head Prefect and Vice Head Prefect” The principal said “And The Head Prefect goes to, Kim Sung Kyu and the Vice Head prefect goes to Khoo Li Wen” After the announcement all the remaining prefects were surprised with the announcement because all the while they expected Li Wen to become the Head Prefect

“Anyone objected to the appointment?” the principal said and no one objected with the announcement.

“IF there is no objection, you can return to your class now, and you will start your duty from tomorrow morning onwards. Li Wen and Sung Kyu, I want to speak to you” The others prefects were dispersed and left Sung Kyu and Li Wen in the meeting room

“Li Wen, I am sorry for not appointing you as a Head Prefect” The principal apologized

“Not to worry, maybe Sung Kyu has a better quality than myself” She said. She was disappointed because she has been working hard to achieve the position but yet she failed to do so and also the fact that Sung Kyu was a ‘new student’ irritated her more

“Both of you are great and I hope both of you can work together” The principal said and after that he dismissed them

“I hope we can work together” Sung Kyu said. They were walking into the class together but she ignored him

“I know you work hard, I heard about it, you are top student” he felt a little bit guilty for taking the place that the girl has been working hard towards.

“Save it” She said harshly “You just have that big fat luck, I am going to prove that I am more eligible than you” The two of them then entered the room and explained to the teacher that they were from the prefect meeting. After 2 long periods of History they were having a short 10 minutes break before heading towards the next class

“I am heading to Econs, how about you?” Mia asked

“Biology” Li Wen said and she gathered her biology books before heading to the laboratory. They heard a loud commotion of congratulating Sung Kyu

“Ignore them” Mia said “I heard about it” she said apologetically

“I have no rights to say but I will prove the principal that it is wrong choice to choose him” Li Wen said and she left Mia all alone in the class. Sung Kyu who saw her leaving the class excused himself and went to look for Li Wen

“Li Wen” Sung Kyu grabbed her hand and she harshly shoved it

“What do you want?” she asked

“Can we have a meeting with others by the end of the day? I need to know the procedures for tomorrow and all that” he asked

“Fine” she said “You go and inform the Junior Prefects while I inform the others, what time?” she asked

“Straight after school, at the assembly hall, I will inform the school security not to lock the assembly hall and the gate. It will take sometimes” he explained

“As your instruction” She said and turned her heels

“I really need your help Li Wen” he pleaded

“Then earn it” She said and left from the sight. Sung Kyu sighed, he felt a huge guilt on his shoulder and he wanted to let her know that he never meant to steal the spotlight, there should be a reason why the principal chose him instead of her

“Oi, Sung Kyu Hyung, Chukahae!”
