It's my first fanfiction about JaySica, since I love this couple so much, I just had to write something!!

so I was listening to the song "almost here" by Brian Mcfadden ft. Delta Goodrem [if you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it] and this popped in my head.

 

-Brian's parts are Jay's thoughts and Delta's are Jessica's, but I'll highlight them so the people who aren't familiar with the song would know :)

 

Jay>> color blue

Jessica>> color purple

 both are maroon

[btw I'm only using the colors with the lyrics]

   Jay was standing at Jessica's door, looking at her teary eyes with guilt in his, he reached up to touch her face but she backed away.

 

  "Please just tell me you changed your mind about leaving so suddenly." Jessica said while more tears fell on her cheeks.

 

  "You have been my life and I never planned growing old without you.." He stepped forward and embraced her,

"But this is something I have to do."

 

  He broke the hug and still kept his hands on her shoulders, "I'm not sure how long I'll be gone, and I can't ask you to wa-"

 

  Jessica stood on her toes and held his face between her hands and kissed him, not letting him finish his sentence, the kiss was so passionate but full with sadness.

 

  "I'll wait for you." she whispered before kissing him one last time before he left to the airport.

  It's was almost two year since Jay left, only long phone calls kept both him and Jessica assured that they still think about each other every minute of every day.

 

  One warm night in June, Jay called Jessica.

 

  "How much you miss me?" he asked her playfully not knowing just how much she wanted to cry whenever she actually thought about their distance.

 

  "Jay, you know you mean everything to me-"

 

  "Yes I know, but I just wanted to know how will you greet me when you see me tomorrow."  he cut her off surprising her.

 

  "..."

 

  "Hello? You still there?"

 

  "Don't play around Jay, I can't take-" 

 

  "But I'm not! I'm coming back jessica, I'm finally coming back."

 

  "Really?" tears rolled down her soft cheeks, she couldn't believe how happy she was just hearing him say that, never realized how much she needed him to come back.

 

   "Yes, Sidus HQ wants me to sign a contract with them, isn't that great."

 

   "yea it is."

 

  "What's wrong? Aren't you happy I'm coming back?" unbeknown to him she was silently crying from happiness he misunderstood her lack of enthusiasm.

 

  "You idiot! Ofcourse I'm happy! What took you so long?!" she shouted at him through the phone and she just heard him laughing and mumbling something about an ice princess.

  It was almost midnight when Jessica's doorbell rang, she fell asleep on the coach waiting for Jay to call, she watched the news and saw how much fans were in the airport to greet him, and wished she could be there but knew she had to wait a bit more.

  She dragged her feet to the door sleepily, and asked who it was but the bell just kept ringing, so she got her taser [AN: I'm sure she got one since she had that creepy stalker following her around :P] and opened the door ready to stun whoever it was, but froze on the spot when she saw Jay grinning at her from the shadows of the dim light.

 

  "Well I expected a kiss not a taser when I imagined you greeting me." he said still grinning at her.

 

  She threw her arms around him hugging him as tightly as she could, as if afraid he would disappear. He hugged her as tightly and burried his face in her hair, oh how much he missed her smell.

  

  "You're kinda breaking my bones Jessica," he chuckled but only heard sniffles and Jessica started shaking a bit.

 

  "Hey, look at me," he lifted her face and saw how her tears were still forming in her eyes and pouring down on his shirt, "I'm back, and I'm not planning to leave any time soon." he smiled at her wiping her tears with his thumb, then bent down and kissed her like he had never kissed her before, all the hurt, the pain of the distances, all their feelings kept inside for a very long time, their love.. all poured in the most passionate kiss.
