“I can’t believe we’re really doing this.”

Donghae smiled at her though she couldn’t see it thanks to the face mask and sunglasses that he was wearing. “Welcome to Las Vegas, baby.”

“Don’t I look weird, oppa?” Sooyoung gestured to herself, referring to the fact that she was wearing a hooded jacket, a face mask and a large pair of sunglasses at three in the morning.

He waited until he unloaded their luggage from the conveyer belt before he replied. They were intending to head back the next day, which explained their minimal possessions for the trip. “I’m wearing the same thing so at least we match, right?”

“Everyone will kill us, oppa.” She whispered as she attempted to take her bag but her boyfriend had it in his grasp before she could even reach for it. “I’m sure of that.”

“Everything will be fine.” The brown haired man took her hand in his free one and squeezed it reassuringly. “Are you having second thoughts about this?”

Sooyoung shook her head instantly. “Of course not, oppa.”

“I know things won’t be easy at first. We’re expecting that, right?” He dropped a kiss on her forehead. “But eventually, things will be okay. What matters right now is you and me.”
