All her life, Jeong Jiwon only knew how to pretend. Pretend that she is happy, pretend that she is smiling, pretend that she is her perfect twin sister. Jiwon's twin sister, Hyewon, was the perfect sister while she was just a piece of trash to her parents. If it wasn't because of an accident, her parents wouldn't even remember her.

Hyewon was pretty, smart, tall, talented, athletic and really nice while her younger twin sister Jiwon is pretty, witty, tall, athletic but has a y attitude. Everyone says Hyewon was perfect. Even photographers think it. But it all changed when an accident changed Hyewon forever.

It was during winter one day. Hyewon and her boyfriend were out having dinner. Jiwon saw them, gave her greetings and walked away to who knows where.

On their way home, they were met with an accident that killed her boyfriend and scarred her. Because of her trauma, Hyewon became unattentive, quiet, emotionless and distant. She became the opposite of herself.

Because they are afraid to ruin their image, Hyewon's parents kept this from the media. They were thinking of a way to live normally and pretend that the accident never happened. That was where Jiwon was remembered.

They told Jiwon to pretend that she is Hyewon and go to her school, Seoul's Academy of the Gifted and study there. Jiwon half-heartedly agreed under one condition: her best friend, Key, was to go with her free of charge.

At first, Key thought the idea was absurd, but being the good friend that he is, he agreed to help her no matter what.
