Flashback.

"Let's keep this ring as the icon of our friendship!" young Kibum said. Young Yoona nodded.

"Friends forever?" Kibum said, helding up his pinky finger.

"Friends forever." Yoona replied, intertwining her pinky finger with Kibum's.

"Yoona! Yoona!" Kibum shouted, running for Yoona in the airport. Yoona heard it, but to prevent any tears falling in her cheeks, she ran away.

"I''m so sorry, Kibum. I love you." Yoona said, helding back her tears.

"Yoona. I love you. Why did you leave me like this?"

Kibum's POV. 

It's been a year since Yoona left me.

I tried to forget her, but I just can't.

I want to see her again.

Even if it's for the last time.

I want to stare at her beautiful face like I used to.

I want her to be the mother of my kids.

I stared at our friendship ring. I put it inside my pocket.

I decided to walk the streets of Seoul. I wandered around, and decided to go to COEX Mall.

I bumped into a woman. "Sorry!" we both cried in unison.

I recognized that voice, and I looked up. She was the woman I waited for.

"Yoona."

"Kibum." She said.

Yoona's POV.

I can't believe after a year of leaving Seoul, I'll be going there back.

There's only one thing that I wanted to see.

And that's Kibum.

I felt so guilty for leaving him like that.

My plane arrived at Seoul.

I'm not feeling tired, I'm feeling to excited.

I asked my sister, Nana, to pick me up at the airport.

She did. I met her, and hugged her, told her how I missed her.

"Where do you want to go?" She asked.

"I want to go to COEX mall. Can you please leave my luggage at our house? And shouldn't you go to work?" I said.

"I am. But I decided to pick you up first. Don't worry, I will." She said.

Then we talked about random stuffs.

After a few minutes, we arrived at COEX mall. I bid goodbye to Nana, and wandered around.

I bumped into a man. "Sorry!" we both said in unison.

The guy's voice... I knew the voice. I've always wanted to hear that voice.

"Yoona." he said.

"Kibum." I said.

Author's POV.

It was an awkward moment. Until Kibum broke the silence.

"So.. How are you?" he said.

"Great. You?" she replied.

"Yeah, great too." Kibum said. "Wanna go together?"

"S-sure." Yoona said. And they went in to the mall.

"When did you arrive at Seoul?" Kibum asked her, as they settled in a cafe.

"Just today. I asked Nana to pick me up and brought me here. She left for work." Yoona explained.

"Oh." Kibum nodded.

"May I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Why did you leave me like that?" Kibum asked her. Yoona was petrified.

"I-I..." Yoona stuttered.

"Sure, you may not want to answer now. That's fine." Kibum said, almost getting up from his chair.

"Stop. Sit here. I left because of my mother. She forced me to go out of Korea to continue my studies. I didn't want to tell you because I'm afraid you might be broken hearted. And I don't want that to happen." Yoona explained.

"You should've told me that. So we can go together at least." Kibum said.

"I know, and it was all a mistake." Yoona said, tears rolling down her cheeks. Kibum saw that.

"Sshh.. Don't cry here. Let me get you into my car." Kibum said, and brought Yoona to his car.

Arriving at Kibum's car, Kibum, being a gentleman, opened the passengers door for Yoona, then went in himself.

"Now, cry all you want." Kibum said. Yoona did. But unexpectedly, Kibum hugged her. Yoona was surprised. Kibum was warm and gentle.

 

and she wanted to stay like this, forever.

 

"Yoona.. I have to tell you the truth, don't I? I love you. Even after you leave me like that, I still love you. I'll do anything to be with you again." Kibum confessed. Yoona wasn't surprised.

"I do too. I thought you'll hate me for leaving you like that. I'm so sorry. I missed you so much." Yoona said. Suddenly, Kibum broke the hug and went outside. Yoona was surprised for the sudden act, and she went out from the car too. She saw Kibum standing in a big field nearby.

 

"IM YOONA!" He shouted.

"I WANT YOU TO BE MINE FOREVER. I WANT US TO BE PARENTS. AND I WANT YOU TO BE THE MOTHER OF MY KIDS." He continued, and walked to Yoona.

"Remember this?" Kibum said, taking their friendship ring out of his pocket. Yoona nodded. Kibum kneeled down.

"Im Yoona, will you marry me?" Kibum said.

Yoona burst in tears. "Yes! Yes!" she cried. Kibum slipped the ring in Yoona's fingers, and stood up.

The next thing Yoona knew, her lips were pressed by Kibum's lips.

"Yoona! Oh my goodness, you're so wonderful!" Jessica, Yoona's bestfriend said.

"I know! And that guy of yours is so lucky to have a beautiful girl like you." Yuri, Yoona's BFF said.

"Thanks for the compliment guys." Yoona smiled.

"Hey! Yoona, get ready!" Donghae, Jessica's boyfriend, said, his head at the door. Beside him was Yesung, Yuri's boyfriend.

Yoona went out, and intertwined her arms with her dad's. They walked down the aisle, as the song 'Destiny' by Super Junior M played.
