"You have to make sure to hit this note right after the eighth beat." He chided her softly and the small girl pouted. They had been rehearsing the group's debut song for so long and yet, she still managed to mess up. "Are you feeling alright? You were never like this before." He brought a hand up to her forehead, a frown appearing on his handsome face.

"N-neh, I'm fine! No need to worry!" She immediately took a step back as her nervous laughter filled the room. He gave her a strange look.

"Are you sure?" He sounded worried but still, she would not tell him. She didn't want to ruin their friendship with her selfish desires.

"Of course!" Her tone was cheerful and he would've believed her if he didn't know her better than anyone else in the world. He wasn't fooled but wasn't willing to push it either. "Let's just start from the beginning." She didn't wait for his response, putting her hands on the piano again and playing the intro of the song with skilled hands.

There it was again. He sighed softly, trying his best to pay attention to the song. She was putting up those walls again. He didn't understand what was happening. Ever since she found out that she would be debuting, things have been so different between them. She was more careful around him and it really hurt him. What was happening to them?

▌Mehhhh..... It's another bad one xD Happy Black Friday, everyone~! I should be out shopping but my dad won't let me go anywhere.
