If Only We Could Touch

Description

Do you still remember the olden days, when things took so much more effort and time to complete? Where people use to have to write a letter, seal it in an envelope, write the to-and-from details on said envelope, buy a sticker, drop it in the post box and finally have to wait weeks or months before a reply? Where that period of pure uncertainty existed - was the reciever going to like your message and respond? Or completely ignore it and deny its existence? Your wait could of been filled with overbearing, oppressive anxiety or one of nervous, tingly jitters. A letter was a heartfelt message from someone very far away and most of the time, dear to you.

But nowadays you only have to type up your words on a touchscreen mobile or keyboard. Connecting with souls who are afar from you has never been as easy! You even have the choice of calling them and being gifted with the melody of their voice. Or video calling them and being gifted with their physical presence before you, though they are miles upon miles away. The generation who have grown up with technology at their beck and call do not realise how big a blessing it actually is. The easyness at which they can connect with eachother.

The following story will teach two young teens this important lesson, that they should be grateful for what they have been bestowed!

Taemin and Minho live in two completely different environments. They each face different problems in their daily lives, have malfunctions in certain relationships of theirs and deal with this all in contrasting ways. One is a little sweeter, cuter and innocent and the other more rough around the edges and gruff. One is certainly more poetic with their words and the other quite blunt. But only through the multimedia assignment they are given at school will they connect and find out about the others existence.

But through email they may just form a friendship irreplaceable to eachother - a friendship that will teach them many things.

But can two really connect wholeheartedly though a mechanical screen of metal and plastic? Will words be enough to unite them - to form a bond that will grow in their hearts and create feelings they've never felt before? Maybe, just maybe, this adventure their about to embark on will be the start of something for them both.

Question is, can they accept their growing feelings for eachother and let it bloom even further?

Only time will tell whether they can accept a touchless romance!

~ON HOLD INDEFINITELY~

I'm working on a Gtop story so this shall be on hold until that is complete! Sorry xD I'm the type of person who can only work on one story at a time though! T_T Or else I get distracted 3
