Hyoyeon tumbled to the ground again. It was always that same move, that same bending of her body on beat five-and-a-half. Her auditions were in a month, and every time she reached this spot she would fail. She had gotten it once, sure, but it hardly counted since she was dancing at half speed. To join S.M. Entertainment, one had to be absolutely flawless.

I can do this.

Turning towards the mirrors once more, she counted off in her head.
Five, six, a-five six seven eight!

And so she began again.

Why am I bothering to audition? There’s probably so many other talented people out there… Grimacing, Hyoyeon popped and leaped, turning and sliding as she did so.

“EEEP!”

The brunette couldn’t help smiling as she lay on the ground. Picking herself up, she started again.

Well, whatever. It’s still worth a shot. Besides, it’s just for fun, isn’t it?
