Sunny’s POV

 

 

 

Yeah I know I’m in love with her. She’s so perfect. I don’t know why, my stomach react like the butterfly is flying inside. This is the sign that maybe I’m in love her. Hmmm.. Taeyeon, you are always be in my heart, you are my best friend that I ever had. So, I’m in love with my best friend, huh?

 

 

Am I have to confess this feeling ?

 

 

I think I’m crazy if I confess this to her, what if she is mad at me? What if she break our friendship? No, no.. I won’t let that things happened. I don’t want to lose you, taeng. You are so precious to me. I don’t want you to leave me because of my stupid confession.

 

 

But…

 

 

What if I confess to her, and she has a same feeling towards me? Aigoo.. It’s so confusing…

I have to know first her feeling towards me. Yeah.. but how ? everything she do is turn out to be a friendship thing. We know each other from 5 years ago, when we are in senior high school. Three years in senior high school, we are so close like now, everybody said that we are like a couple, but unfortunately we are just best friend. Until now, we are attending the same university but a different department, she’s attending art department and  I’m attending culinary department. Even though we are attending different department, we can meet after hours of college completion. And it’s 1 years ago that make me feel I’m in love to her, it starts when she come to my culinary class.

 

 

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

 

*knock* *knock*

 

She open my culinary door class.

 

“excuse me.. can I talk to sunny ? it’s only 5 minutes, sir” she bowed at my lecturer.

“Okay, don’t be too long” he focused again to my friends food.

 

I walk towards the door and close it.

She smiled at me. I don’t know what is she going to say.

 

“faster, I didn’t have much time, taeng” I pouted

“Dae… hmm.. tonight my father want to invite you to our dinner, can you ?” she smiled

“yes, I can.. what time?”

“6 PM, okay, hope you come to my father dinner invitation, so, now you better come back to your class, before he eat you instead of your food.” She smiled widely and run away.

“HAHAHAHAHHA..” I laughed so hard.

“Hope you come ! see you later” she shouted as she ran

 

 

 

DINNER

 

“Hi sunny, my beloved best friend, come in” she dragged my hand to the living room

 

I sit in the living room, looking at taeyeon’s photos when she was a child.

 

 

“Hello Sunny.. how are you?” Her father come towards me and hug me

“I’m good, uncle. How about you ?” I hugged back

“He is always good, Sunny” taeng interrupted our conversation.

“Yah ! why you interrupt our conversation?” Her father frowned

“I’m sorry appa !” she smiled widely and run to the dining room

“THE FOOD IS READY !” she shouted as she come to the dining room

 

“Come.. we have a dinner” her father said to me

“dae” I smiled

 

 

DINNING ROOM

 

“faster ! you guys so slow, I’m already starving ! come on !” taeyeon jump up and down on her seat.

“Yah ! please behave, we have a guest, taeyeon” her father take a seat.

 

I chuckled

 

“I’m sorry dad” she looked down

“it’s okay, uncle” I smiled to him

“this kid” he shooked his head “okay, let’s eat before it’s getting cold”

“dae” me and taeyeon said in unison

 

 

IN THE MIDDLE OF DINNER

 

“Sunny, how is it ? is it delicious ?” her father asked me

“yes, it’s delicious” I smiled

“good, and thank you. Hmm.. you know who is cooking all of this food?” her father asked me

“Hmmm.. you?” I said with a confused look

“ah.. you wrong.. for your information, the person who is cooking all of this food is really bad in cooking, but I’m surprised when 4 days ago that I want to invited you to our dinner tonight, this person study really hard how to cook all of this food, actually until our kitchen really have a bad condition and finally this person really did a good job. You know who is this person? this person really try hard to make you happy, you are from culinary department, right? This person want to show you that this person can cook really well. hmm.. for your information again… I didn’t forced this person to cook, but this is the desire of this person.” he chuckled

 

Is this person is Taeyeon ?

 

I looked at taeyeon, she is really busy eating her dinner. I know, it’s not Taeyeon. How could my beloved best friend is doing this. I’m sure it wasn’t her. But wait her father said that this person is really bad in cooking, this is taeyeon’s criteria.

 

 

“Hey, forget about my questions, eat first, Sunny” Her father wake me up from my deep thought.

“D-dae, uncle” I nodded and continue eating my dinner.

 

 

AFTER DINNER

 

“Thank you, sunny for coming to our dinner” her father shooked my hand

“Thank you for inviting me, uncle” I smiled

“Yah ! don’t you thank me?” taeyeon frowned

“Thank you for inviting my taeng !” I smiled widely

“Yah ! it’s not because I’m inviting you !” She looked down after she said that to me

“Hmm?” I lifted my left eyebrowed

“Come on, tell her taeng !” her father pushed her to tell something to me

“dae, appa. Sunny, all of the food that we just eat is… sunny, I cooked all of that food..” I smiled and scratch my head “So, you have to thank me!” I shouted and blushed

 

What ? taeyeon? This girl ? cooking all of this delicious dinner.

 

“what ? you ? cook ?” I still can’t believed what I hear.

“yes.. why ? surprised?” She looked away

“uncle..” I looked at him

“Yes, sunny, she made all of this delicious dinner. You are so cool, taeyeon” he embraced her and ruffled her hair.

“WOW ! TAENG ! YOUR FOOD SO DELICIOUS!” I said with excitement “thank you for your dinner” I blushed

 

Blushed? It’s because her father said that this person want to make me happy

 

“I’m so happy taeng ! you are so good in cooking” I hugged her

“Thank you, sunny !” she hugged me back

 

 

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

 

After that dinner she’s care about me more. Like we are a couple. So, that’s why I’m always feel my heart really beat so fast when she is beside me. She’s so cute when she’s smile and she’s so scary when she’s mad. Better you are not beside her when she got mad.

 

And now she’s beside me having a coffee in the coffee shop.

 

“hey tomorrow is valentine’s day, what are you doing on that day ?” she asked me

 

I hope you are my valentine. So, we can have a date. Ah.. stop it, Sunny, you don’t know that she’s  likes you or not.

 

“Hmm.. I don’t know. How about you ?” I asked her back

“I plan to confess my feeling towards someone that already make my heart beat so fast” she smiled widely

“WHAT ?! I mean who is that lucky person? he or she?” I asked her

 

 

 

What?! She want to confess her feeling towards some one? Omg ! I don’t know what I have to do. Maybe I will not confess my feeling towards her, because tomorrow she will confess to someone. Better I didn’t ruin our friendship and let this feeling go away.

 

 

“you will know soon.” She smiled widely

 

 

 

Taeng ! you make me curious !

 

 

 

“okay then” I sipped my coffee.

 

 

 

 

 

I was driving the car, thinking about who the lucky person who can get the Taeyeon’s heart.

I parked my car at my garage and walk to my house main door.

 

“Sunny, how’s your day ?” my older sister asked me

“nothing special, you?” I sit at the couch

“hmm.. same like you, by the way tomorrow is valentine’s day, what do you plan to do?” she sat beside me

“I don’t know” I sighed

“Hey, my cutie sister, what’s going on? Tell me.. I’m your sister” she patted my hand

 

Yeah she is really a good sister. I’m always tell her my problem and almost everything is resolved. I trust her so much.

 

“So… hmm.. I’m in love with someone.” I blushed and look down

“oh.. so you’re in love. Who is that person?”

“hmmm.. please don’t tell anybody about this, okay? I don’t want to ruin my friendship with her” I looked at her

“Owww.. so it was your best friend, am I right?” She smiled

“dae, unnie” I nodded

“So, what’s your problem?”

“Tomorrow is valentine’s day, she want to confess her feeling towards someone. And after I heard this from her my heart really hurts, so hurts. I want to confess this but I don’t want to ruin this friendship.” I started to cry

“Aigoo.. my sister.. I know it’s so complicated, I don’t know what I have to do, and I didn’t have any idea about this problem. But just do what your heart said. Follow your heart, okay?” she hugged me tightly “just let it out” I cried really hard.

Taeyeon’s POV

 

 

 

I wake up in the morning with my blue pajamas. I still want to sleep. My bed really comfy when it’s morning. I don’t know maybe that’s only my feeling. I turned to my left side and I jumped from my bed after I see the calendar. It’s valentine’s day.

 

I rushed to my bathroom to have a shower.

 

 

After have a shower, I walk out from my bathroom and start to choose my clothes. I have to be good looking today. Because I want to confess this feeling to Sunny. Yeah Sunny.. that was her. Why I like her it’s start from we are in high school.

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

 

IN THE SCHOOL CAFETARIA

 

 

“Taeyeon-ah~” she hugged my arm

“wae?” I looked at her

“everybody said that we are like a couple..”

“so? What’s the matter?”

“what if we are a couple?” She hugged my arm tightly and rested her head on my shoulder.

 

My heart beat so fast after she said that. Why ? Am I want the rumor become real? No.. no… it’s just a lust.

 

Before I could say anything she kissed my cheek

“Don’t be so serious, we are best friend, right?”

 

She kissed my cheek. Ahh.. why my heart beat so fast. Why ? Am I like her? Yes you are, taeng!

 

“Uh.. dae.. we are best friend.” I forced to smile to hide my feeling

 

 

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

 

Yeah it start from there. So, today I want to confess my feeling towards her.

I start my car engine and sped towards the flower shop. I buy a bouquet of flower, and it’s all are red rose. She loves red rose, I know that. After that I went to Korean restaurant for booking a place for two person.

 

I text messages her.

 

Taeyeon : sunny, where are you?

 

 

I wait for her reply.

 

It’s already 10 minutes she didn’t reply my messages.

 

I started to get panic that I failed to make her to be my girlfriend.

 

 

Suddenly, my cell phone’s vibrate

I see open the messages, it’s from Sunny.

 

Finally you reply my messages.

 

Sunny : At my house.. why? Where are you?

Taeyeon : meet me at royal park. You will asked me what time, right? It’s now. I’m at my car.

Sunny : okay.. be careful.

Taeyeon : dae.. please come. I have something to tell you.

Sunny : ok

 

 

 

I parked my car in front of the Royal park. I waited in the car until she come.

 

 

 

 

 

Sunny’s POV

 

 

 

I start to walk to the Royal park cause this park is near my house.

What did she want to tell me? I know, I’m sure it’s about the someone she want to confess.

Uh, my heart really hurts if I’m thinking about this. I raise the my iPod volume.

 

 

 

I arrived the park and search that dork, but she is not there. I sit on the bench park and start text messaging her

 

 

Sunny : Where are you? I already arrived and now I’m waiting you at the bench park beside the ice cream stall.

 

 

 

I waited her reply. But it’s already 5 minutes she’s not reply my messages.

Where is she?

 

 

 

Suddenly, a bouquet of red rose in front of my eyes, and I see the hands really familiar. And I look behind. It’s Taeyeon. What is she doing? Is she practice to confess her feeling towards that girl?

 

 

“hi, am I late ?” She smiled “by the way take this bouquet, please? This is for you.”

“Me? Why ? are you practicing to confess your feeling by me ?” I lifted my left eyebrowed

“No.. no.. it’s for you.. seriously, it’s for you” she smiled

 

What ? it’s for me?

 

I blushed

 

I just can’t believe this.

 

“Sunny, the girl who is making in love, it’s you. I love you, Sunny. Please, be my valentine?” She give her hand to me

“Yes.. I want to be your valentine” I blushed and take her hand

“So, are we officially dating?” She smiled

“Dae..” I blushed

 

 

She stand up and screamed “THANK YOU SUNNY !”

 

Oh my.. It’s just unexpected. She’s in love with me. Uh.. I want to cry..

I stand up and hugged her tightly from the back.

 

“I love you so much, tae. So much” I sobbed

“Aigoo..” she turn around and looked at me “Why are you crying?” she wiped my tears with her thumb

“I just really happy” I hugged her tightly “I thought I’m not that lucky girl”

“Hmm.. sorry it’s just practicing, sunny” she pulled away our hug and her face looks so serious.

 

My jaw dropped open

 

“hahahhahaha I’m kidding. I’m so happy to have you. Once again, thank you for accepting me to be your girlfriend. I love you” she kissed my head and hugged me.

“YAHH ! you are so mean. Fyi you are my first love.” I hit her back many time and cry.

“Aigoo.. I’m sorry.” She hugged me tightly “Okay, I won’t disappoint you.”

“jinja ?” I hugged her back

“Dae..”

“gomawo.. “

“so, now our next destination is Korean restaurant” She pulled my hand.
