PROLOGUE.
What Kim Himchan finds interesting about life is that it always brings surprises. You can expect on what to happen next, but Himchan barely makes expectations because it mostly leads to disappointment. In a blink of an eye, everything can change: just like when Himchan was kidnapped and it was actually a plan for his birthday party, when Youngjae horrifyingly screamed at Jongup and he thought something bad happened to the shouted person and it was actually Jongup just eating Youngjae’s food, and just like when Himchan heard sounds that terrified him when he and Yongguk are in a talk…
“Yongguk? Where are you?”
“I’m almost there, Himchan. Please wait a little more.”
“Okay,” Himchan sighs. “Take care, Yongguk.”
There isn’t any reply from the other end, but a horn from a possibly big truck was heard, and a big clash of glass and metal followed suit. “Yongguk?”
…who would have thought that it was actually Bang Yongguk’s last call?
