Bio: A pure born angel (an angel who was born in heaven and was never human), Chanhee has been working as a Guardian Angel ever since he graduated from the Academy of the Heavens. He works in the teen division along with his supervisor Niel, roommate Ricky, and Changjo, watching over troubled youth. Chanhee met L.Joe when L.Joe was younger and fell in love with the boy. He summons himself down to earth to be with L.Joe.
Personality: Chanhee is an energetic guy who is constantly smiling. His emotions are always to the extreme. If he is happy, there’s no bringing him down. If he’s depressed, then it’ll hurt others to see this bright boy sad. If he falls in love, he falls hard. Chanhee loves joking around with others and making friends. He is a truly loyal and honest friend but doesn’t do well with fake or two-faced people.
Name: Lee Byung Hun (gang name: L. Joe)
Age: 17
Job: High School Student/former gang leader
Bio: Byung Hun is a third year high school student living in a Seoul, Korea slum with his older brother Min Soo. In his younger days, Byung Hun was a gang leader alongside his brother after the death of their parents. After realizing that this life of violence was not what their parents would have wanted, they retired from gang life. Byung Hun decided to turn his life around by applying to and attending one of the city’s most prestigious high school, The Seoul Academy of Arts and Sciences. His life is turned upside down with Chanhee comes to SAAS.
Personality: Despite his bad boy looks, Byung Hun is a kind guy. He is polite towards women and his elders and he does fairly well in a competitive school. Even though he his good looking, Byung Hun is not very popular because his quietness often gives him a cold or condescending aura about him. His only true friend in school is Suzy Bae, whom he has a crush on.
Name: Ahn Daniel (codename: Niel)
Age: 16 (human years)
Job: Head Guardian Angel of Teen Division
Bio: A pure bred Angel, Daniel is the Head of the Teen Division. In the Teen Division, angels look after teens who have been through a hard life. After working up the ranks, Daniel is in charge of supervising any projects the division may have. He is the one who sends Chanhee and other angels down to earth due to a high rise in teenage suicides.
Personality: Niel is a hardworking young man who takes his job a little bit too seriously. His subordinates think he’s a pain and bossy, especially Chanhee who is often the one getting yelled at Daniel the most. In actuality, Niel is just a typical kid who wants to fit in and be loved.
Name: Bang Min Soo (gang name: CAP)
Age: 19
Job: Part-time University Student/ Manager at Korean BBQ
Bio: Min Soo is the older brother of Byung Hun. A former gang leader, kingka, and notorious womanizer, Min Soo gave up his life of crime to focus on raising his baby brother and making a good life for them. He works part time at a low paying job, trying to pay for him and Byung Hun’s tuition along with bills and food.
Personality: Min Soo always tries to make the best of a bad situation to keep his brother from being depressed. He also pushes Byung Hun to make good decisions in life. Supportive of everyone around him, Mino Soo often neglects his own needs and wants. Min Soo dreams of having an ideal life with a perfect wife but he settles for flirting with girls instead of having a steady girlfriend.
Name: Yoo Chang Hyun (codename: Ricky)
Age: 15 (human years)
Job: Guardian Angel
Bio: A fairly new guardian angel who was once a human before arriving in heaven. Chang Hyun lived as a tortured young human boy who committed suicide because of the abuse that he endured at home and school. He chooses not to talk about his past with anyone and enjoys it better that way. He rooms with Chanhee, who is like an older brother and is in a relationship with Jong Hyun, who is his closest friend.
Personality: Chang Hyun loves attention and charms hyungs and noonas everywhere with his cute looks and sweet personality. He often plays practical jokes on Daniel (with Chanhee) who calls the older angel a bad influence on Chang Hyun. Although he seems happy, Chang Hyun his often haunted by his human life and because of that, he can experience severe depression.
Name: Choi Jong Hyun (codename: Changjo)
Age: 15 (human years)
Job: Guardian Angel
Bio: A young guardian angel who died in a car accident when he was five years old. He is a hard working boy who is often praised by Daniel and other superiors. Jong Hyun might even work alongside Daniel one day because of his good work. He is very close to his boyfriend Chang Hyun and even though his is a bit younger than Chang Hyun, Jong Hyun likes to baby him.
Personality: Jong Hyun is an exceedingly loyal and understanding boy who enjoys dancing in his spare time. He is quiet and down to earth most of the time, rarely participating in the pranks that Chanhee and Chang Hyun pull on Daniel, but that doesn’t stop him from laughing at them. Jong Hyun is the go to guy in Heaven when one needs someone to talk to.
Others:
Bae Suzy- Suzy is a good friend of Byung Hun. She knows of his past and accepts him regardless of what other people think of him. She comes from the same poor neighborhood as Byung Hun and attends SAAS, as well. Suzy keeps her economic status secret because she is one of the most popular and pretty girls at the Academy and that would ruin her reputation.
Lee Jieun (IU)- The Academy’s head Queenka and best singer. She’s best friends with Suzy and often talks to Byung Hun but not sincerely because of his image. Jieun likes to be around people who are attractive, talented, and charismatic like herself. She becomes interested in Chanhee when he arrives to SAAS.

He was fascinated by him.
His human quirks, his looks, his style, the way he stood out; the angel Chanhee was completely enamored by a certain human boy. As a guardian angel, Chanhee had a mirror that could hone in on any person on earth. Naturally, Chanhee used it to spy on a certain carrot haired human he met long ago. Initially, the angel boy used the mirror to occasionally check up on the human. But slowly, Chanhee began to fall for his bad boy exterior and kind charms. The boy that Chanhee loved was Lee Byung Hun.
Chanhee was relaxing in the room that he shared with his friend Chang Hyun, idly watching Byung Hun prepare for his day. This “school” thing that Byung treaded off to each day intrigued Chanhee. The angelic boy was born an angel and never went to a human school, so watching his dear Byungie mix things in Chemistry and find derivatives in math and interacting with other young humans were new and interesting. Sometimes he’d daydream about him being a student at Byung’s school. “Hanging out” with the human and even kissing him. The thought alone was enough to make Chanhee’s fair cheeks tinged a shade of pink. To steer away from any impure thoughts, Chanhee redirected his attention to the mirror to see Byung Hun walking with a girl named Suzy. Chanhee knew that Byung “liked” Suzy just like he liked Byung. However, the guardian wasn’t aware of Suzy’s feelings towards Byung Hun. But thinking about the possibility of her liking him as well made him livid. It made him want to−
“Chunji!” His code name resonated throughout the room.
Chanhee quickly looked up and hid his mirror in a swift, fluid motion. “Yeah, Niel? What’s up?” he muttered, sitting up in the bed.
“It’s almost time for the meeting,” said Daniel, the head guardian angel of the Teen Division. “Be prompt. And don’t let me catch you using the mirrors for unauthorized usage again.”
Chanhee’s face reddened slightly because he had been caught by his boss. But instead of making his embarrassment obvious, Chanhee stood up, grinned, and pat the dark haired boy’s shoulder when he walked over there.
“Whatever do you mean, Daniel?” Chanhee said, revealing his signature white smirk. “This is perfectly authorized~”
