Prologue:
“You’ll going to protect me from what’s in the dark?”Dara asked him, smiling up into his face.
“Damn, I f I took so much breath, he’d be brushing up against her…
How could this small woman unnerve him like this? She was too close to him…Much too…close
Much too desirable…”
He tried to get a grip to himself …”but how about if, what’s in the dark is me? Are you going to run away?”He asked in a whisper.
Her pulse began to accelerate, blood raise to her face. Things were happening inside of her, things that she couldn’t stop. It was as if someone had thrown a switch and turn on all her will power and taken off her blinders. Her breath backed up into her lungs…and the words came out to her in a whisper.
“I don’t need to run away and protecting from you.”
He smiles to her and unable to help himself, he ran his thumb along her lower lip. “I wouldn’t be too sure of that Dr. Park…I wouldn’t be.”
