“Yes oppa?” Sue Ji questioned.

“No,” Sue Ji’s voice turned to ice and the light went out of her eyes.

In a clear, frozen tone she said, “Dae Sung sunbae, if you ever ask me to date you again we will stop being friends. Do you understand?”

He nodded paralyzed she had not even let him finish the question.

Suzy climbed into the nearby van leaving the boy in front of the school.  

After a short passage of time, Fei asked Suzy if anything was wrong but she replied no. Sue Ji stared out the window as her mind flew to the past.

The boy fell.

Crack… blood a scarlet rogue poured from his body. His skin grew waxy as his life flowed out of him in iron scented waves.

The young Sue Ji stood stricken with emotion her fingers curled inward and formed a fist over . I killed him…

“Urgh-ba,” she leaned over bile forced its way up and out . Tears flowed burning their path down her cheeks.

Only seconds before they were playing and holding hands. Then he had to kiss that girl and Sue Ji had happened to see. Heartbroken she shoved him off the stairs just to scare him but not this… Black spots clouded Sue Ji’s vision and her breathe came in shallow pants. Her tiny frame shook with a fury then she collapsed like a sack of bricks.

Suzy coughed fighting back her tears.  I will be close to a boy again. That was her silent promise to herself.

”Suzy…” her manager called shaking her arm.

“Wae?” Suzy pulled herself to reality and followed.

Urgh. Suzy was bored out of her mind waiting for her turn to record when a shadow passed a corner of her vision.

“No…” she cried softly. It can’t be…

Before she realized what her body was doing she chased after the shadow. Farther and farther like Alice down the rabbit hole.  Her breathe ran into shallow pants. Then suddenly the shadow stopped and her heart skipped a beat. It was him.  She made a mad dash for him… her eyes widened as she realized that she misjudged the distance. Her hands flew out to correct herself but she fell down…

Hm… Wae? Sue Ji floated in a black mist and there he stood. Looking down she realized she was back to her young self.

He looked through her and said one thing. Live.

Suzy jerked forward. Her eyes opened to see a white room. Looking around it felt familiar not that fact that it looked like every other hospital room more.

“Sue Ji?” a man in white asked.

“Yes,” she whispered.

“Are you very lucky to be alive if you had broken your neck then…”

Sue Ji interrupted, “What hospital is this and what room?”

“XXX General and Room 212,” he answered confused.

Shocked she bursted into a smile. This was the same place she was brought to all those years ago. In her soul she knew he had saved and forgiven her.
