Crescent Creation is a new company set up by a mafia group to make more money for themselves. Nobody knows the truth until they join the company. They use idols to make more money, not caring if it damages their artist's reputation. For them, any attention, even if it's bad, helps with marketing and make the group to get more popular in instant. Despite this, the artists still get good dorms, make frequent comebacks, and eat good foods.
However, behind the facade of good treatment showcased to the public and media, the reality for the idols within Crescent Creation is a living nightmare. They find themselves trapped in a relentless cycle of abuse and neglect, devoid of any protection from the company when embroiled in scandals or subjected to public backlash. Gaslit into believing that such hardships are necessary for their group's rise to fame, they are pressured into accepting mistreatment as a means to an end, assured that the public will soon forget their struggles. While they are provided with ample food, the slightest change from strict weight limits results in brutal punishment, including physical abuse and forced starvation lasting for days until they conform to the company's standards once more.
