She was what they all called ‘The ’.
In her honest defense, she didn't think she deserved that nickname. es talked behind your back. She, on the other hand, would say it in front of your face if your new dress made you like a cheap . es loved unnecessary attention and always tried to make themselves part of the town’s headlines. Instead shepreferred to sleep in her penthouse or to have a solo shopping spree –spending her fortune on $800 worth of branded scarves and other accessories (if the popular magazine dubbed her as an “impulsive shopper” she wouldn't complain).
She would prefer it more if people called her a spoiled princess. At least it had the element of “princess” in it; not only that, she had always liked the way they referred her to as a princess ever since she was a kid. She admitted that she was spoilt by her parents’ money, but hey, it wasn't as if she did not deserve it. After all, they had dared to leave her and her young sister alone after that car accident. She was glad to be away from everything that reminded her of her parents –her sister (even though she missed Krystal dearly at the same time), her grandparents, her old house…
So why all so suddenly, three days ago, had her grandmother demanded her to go back to Korea? Jessica would normally have ignored her grandmother’s request, but the latter had threatened to freeze her credit card –and heck, how would she be able to live in the States without money?
The reason behind her grandmother's sudden request was obvious though.
The single invitation letter that came to her three months ago.
She had ignored it –a formal letter inviting her to a socialite gathering in Seoul. She didn't want to go back to Seoul, so why bother giving it a glance? Jessica had thought it was h
