Choi Minki, played by Choi Minki aka Ren of NU'EST
Minki is a pretty boy who exactly looks like his twin sister, Minji. But his look is now a major issue for him. He is forced to replace his twin sister to go to her school as a girl because Minji is under some stress. However it's not that easy to be Minji because she was so different when she was in school, not like her-really-self. Minki tend to find the reasons of why Minji is stressed and almost suicided. He has a little crush on Krystal.
Aiden/Amber Liu, played by Amber Liu of f(x)
He is actually a girl, but she keeps this as secret for some reason and go around by her boy name, Aiden. Her mom—and maybe the doctor who helped her mom gave her birth—is the only one who knows she's a girl. She's american-taiwanese. Seems like she has some crush on Minji, but she always bullied and hated Minji. She's boyish and rude, and immature most of the time.
Kang Baekho, played by Kang Dongho aka Baekho of NU'EST
Baekho is an athletic boy, gentle, strong, smart, mature, and likes to protect everything that he loves. He is cold on the outside and hard to tell his real feeling. That's why some people doesn't really know that he's a warm and friendly person inside. And yes, he was the one who always protected Minji in the middle school back in the day, although they weren't really close to each other.
Krystal Jung, played by Krystal Jung of f(x)
Krystal was Minji's only one close friend in the middle school, but it seems like they lost contact. Although Krystal is lovable, she has that dark side that no one knows but Minji.
MINOR:
Choi Minji, played by female version of Ren of NU'EST
The twin sister of Minki, smart and happy at home but so gloomy at school. She is so stressed about something and couldn't—or wouldn't—say anything about what happened to her. That makes her parents worry about her and her future, so they force Minki to replace her in order to make people don't realize about Minji's stressness and she doesn't have to lose her scholarship.
Park Luna, played by Luna of f(x)
Minki's new friend at Minji's highschool. Smart but also witty at the same time. She helps Minki how to act like girl because she believes Minki is just a confused teenage girl who doesn't know how to act in front of boys. She doesn't know the real reason behind why Minki is confused, is because Minki is actually a boy.
Hwang Minhyun, played by Minhyun of NU'EST
Also Minki's new friend at Minji's highschool. He is a class president. Funny, sometimes 'blank and slow' minded. He's interested at Krystal but Krystal doesn't even care about him. Minki, Luna and Minhyun make a good friendship—although sometimes they're bickering to each other like children.
Foreword
My name is Choi Minki and I am a boy, a straight boy. Why should I do this then? Actually I really hate this but I've told you before, I didn't have any choice and I didn't want to make my parents feel sad.
My Minji almost commited suicide last month, right after she was selected to get a scholarship in her new highschool. That was so confusing, even after a month I still don't know how could she think about death in that situation? She should've been happy, very very happy. What a fool.
Sigh, I Minji's hair lightly once again before I left her in her room. She was still sleeping, in fact she haven't been really awake since last month. I made my way to the dining room and there I got my mom and dad gasp in surprise.
"Ohh come on umma, appa, why should you be that surprised?" I said in annoyance. Seriously, they were the one who forced me to be Minji and replace her in her school. I sat and ate my breakfast with no desire.
"Ani, Minki, umma just feels.. Sad.. it should me Minji who wears this uniform.. And you wear yours." She smoothed Minji's uniform and I could see the sadness in her eyes. Mom please don't make me feel guilty.
"Umma, now I can understand why you forced me to do this. I really understand. So let's just do it and give me some strength." I smiled and patted her back to comfort her.
While my dad just looked at us awkwardly. "You look, ehmm... beautiful." He said awkwardly.
I rolled my eyes. Of course I looked beautiful because I look exactly like my twin sister, Choi Minji. We have the same white skin, the same smooth pink lips, the same clear eyes and the same sharp nose. And I even have the same bangs with her. I'm just a bit taller than her, but my not muscular body really makes me look girly.
I didn't really care about my look before, I even didn't mind people mistook me as a girl because Minji and me enjoyed it. It gave us a great laugh. But now I start to regret it, if I look manlier my parents wouldn't have any chance to force my like this.
Now it's too late, not after I wear this silly uniform.
I took a glance at the mirror in front of me once again before I leave to Minji's school and breath in relieve. Yeah, no one will know that I'm Minki. Even our neighbour wouldn't know either. "Okay..." I whispered, luckily I could make my voice sounds girly after I practiced so much last week, "Ehm, okay. Annyeonghaseyo Choi Minji imnida." Smiled. Oh no, my smile didn't look like Minji's. Smile.. Ahh whatever no one will know how Minji was, this is her new school though.
"Ok let's go Minki, you'll be a girl since now on, hehehe, that means... I will have so many girl friends. Wow, I can hug girl innocently, everywhere." I giggled.
"Bye umma, appa!" I shouted, loud enough for them to hear. I walked outside and closed the door behind me. Ok, I can do it. I began to walk step by step.
, it feels strange. "Why should girls wear skirt? It feels strange. And it's still cold outside."
In the middle of my whinning I could hear someone, an ahjumma called Minji's name. So I turned to her direction and smiled painfully. Wae oh wae? Wae this ahjumma? She knew us even before we were born and now she would definitely blow away my secret.
"Annyeong, ommonim. How are you doing?" I asked, but I couldn't look right to her eyes.
"I'm allright Minji, how about you? Where have you been? I haven't seen you for a month. I really miss you." She asked while taking out the trash.
"Emh, I was on a long vacation ommonim." I lied, oh well I didn't have to tell you that I lied.
"Oh really? What about Minki?"
I'm Minki. "Now he lives in dormitory near his school ommonim." I didn't really lie this time, if I wasn't here to replace Minji, I would be there in my own school, a not really good school though.
"Ohh, emh, you look taller Minji.."
Oh my, will I be caught even before I get to school? In my first hour?? I gulped hard.
"Ah but you're still so young, listen Minji, you can be a super model someday." The ahjumma smiled widely and then leave me alone. Phew~ Ok that was good for the beginning.
But the real hell would be started in school. How I hope I could act greatly, so I wouldn't make myself caught, and Minji wouldn't lose her scholarship in her prestigious school, and I will know why... Why she wanted to suicide...
