About
eta krp is a semi-literate to literate non-au general mewe for muns and muses . our goal is to create a friendly, active environment where muses can make connections in whatever way works best for them and where muns can customize their activity requirements based on their needs and abilities that period. that said, you can expect games, hbs, other casual activities to be part of the directory as well as writing.
Rules
general ✧ all members are expected to be welcoming, inclusive, friendly, and engaging. this includes new and veteran members. prohibited behavior includes facechasing, shipchasing, bubble roleplaying, selectivity, godmodding, metagaming, ooc hostility, etc. please leave all drama from prior roleplays with that roleplay. we don't ask everyone get along or like each other (but we can hope); we just ask everyone respect each other and our rules. unplotted and/or unnecessary drama will not be tolerated. all rules are subject to change at any time if the mods feel the situation or environment of the directory calls for it. there will be an update posted for transparency if this happens.
contact ✧ you may message the mods of eta krp either through our tumblr asks and chat, or on our mewe mod account. aff is not actively monitored and anons have been turned off, and we will not be turning them on. we are a small team of two with other obligations, and this is for our mental health after seeing a lot of hate that can come from anons. if publicly answered, any messages sent to our tumblr will have the account name censored. additionally, we reserve the right to delete any messages in our inbox without response that are not constructive, abrasive, death threats, or general hate.
muses ✧ all muses need to be , signed to an entertainment company, and be active within the korean entertainment industry. we do accept those that are currently enlisted but still signed. please be respectul of the idol you are portraying including any ualities, pronouns, religions, etc. they have officially made statements on. we don't expect you to know every intricacy surrounding them, but write them to the best of your knowledge and ability and learn more if you are unsure. we allow up to two characters per mun provided both are able to meet activity requirements and are not from the same group. there is a five (5) year , three (3) week dating ban, and a six (6) month marriage ban after joining. pregnancy scares are okay for the plot if that's what you and your writing partner decide, but pregnancies inside the roleplay are not allowed. that said, we do accept move-in couples. both applications will need the same identifying password to be accepted. those involved with scandals or those that wish to not be roleplayed are prohibited, as well as any idol or celebrity currently confirmed in a romantic relationship.
applying ✧ eta krp does not accept reservations. we only accept applications on a first come, first served basis. all applications must be submitted with a twitter, aff, or tumblr link 90 days old or more. we do not accept applications from roleplay accounts.
account ✧ please ensure your muse’s profile display name is clearly readable without any special fonts or characters and written in english. you may choose to use their legal name or stage name so long as it is recognizable or searchable. accounts should include either 'eta krp,' the 💖 sparkling heart emoji, or both, and your muse's age and/or birth year.
membership ✧ after acceptance, you have 48 hours to follow the instructions listed on the acceptance post on tumblr, otherwise the claim will be released. to stay, you then have 72 hours to make your first timeline post.
character changes ✧ you may apply for a character change after that muse has been in the directory for two (2) weeks. in order to do so, you must fill out our application again with the character change option. we only allow a total of five (5) character changes per mun during the course of their stay in this roleplay.
activity ✧ at eta krp, we offer a customizable ac to fit your needs and abilities for that period. our activity checks are bi-weekly, every other sunday, and can be met in the following ways: mandatory + secondary.
the mandatory items that must be included in your ac are:
the second half of our ac is up to you— you just have to choose two (2) different options!
you must complete the mandatory requirements as well as two (2) items from the secondary list to remain active. for example, to be complete the check, you will have completed:
hiatuses ✧ we only allow a hiatus of up to two weeks with a two week cool down period between. all hiatuses require mod approval and may be adjusted or denied appropriately. during this time, you are not required to participate in an activity check, however, once you return, you will need to complete the items in that current activity check. if you are asking for a hiatus near the end of an activity check, please make sure you have completed the ac beforehand and let our mod team know when you make the request. if you have not finished the current ac and there are only a few days left of it, we may deny your request.
timeline ✧ plot calls are optional but encouraged. if you make a plot call, please set clear expectations and follow up with those that react. anyone found not reaching out within a reasonable time (one (1) week unless a check-in regarding it is made), may receive a warning. there is a pattern of multiple reports across several directories of people not reaching out after plot calls, and that is not behavior we want to see. all we ask is you to do your best. if you feel like you'll get overwhelmed, there is nothing wrong with setting caps! there are some great conversation starter tips and resources on google, if you need help or are unfamiliar with their muse. don't be intimidated! talking to a muse about themselves and their interests is a great way to get to know an idol you're not immediately familiar with.
please set your own emojis on your posts to make it easy for people to react. it takes a few seconds to go down the timeline and react to posts and is a kind and easy way to make someone's efforts feel seen within the community. it is encouraged everyone emoji all in-character posts on the timeline, excluding rated posts unless you would like. your mod team will be watching for repeat offenders that are not doing this, or are only seeming to react to their ship person's or inner circle's posts. we may reach out with a warning that we have noticed this behavior and would like to see a change, and removal may happen if this behavior is constant and does not improve.
maturity ✧ we are not a " rp," but we do have a group for /rated/mature content. it is optional within our directory, and you are free to join and leave it as you would like. your comfort is important. additionally, it is important that those that wish to partake in this kind of content be made to feel comfortable as well, and we have a zero tolerance for -shaming, rudeness or mislabeling our roleplay. if muses are consensually promiscuous and contained within the designated groups or the privacy of their threads and dms, that's their perrogative. no rated content should spill over to the general chats or outside the rated group. if anyone is made to feel uncomfortable or their boundaries with this content disrespected, please notify your mod team immediately.
moderation ✧ your mod team is a small duo with families, jobs, and a lot of other things going on. we are making this directory as an option for individuals to have a positive outlet for their muse and a platform to do it on. we are not here to moderate for personal matters. we expect you to handle any personal situation like an adult without our involvement, but we will step in if asked and/or if absolutely necessary. if you have a dispute, and you can see no other means of resolution, please get admin approval before soft or hard blocking another member of the roleplay. member-made groups are not moderated by the eta krp admins, however we expect the directory's rules to be upheld and each member to be treated with courtesy and respect. we reserve the right to remove any person(s) we feel are detrimental to the health of the roleplay. we are human, we value your mental health as well as our own. we are not licensed counselors or moderators, and will help to the best of our ability, but we have boundaries we need to set for our own peace as well.
