She was perfect. He still berated himself for the amount of time it took him to realize that, years spent repressing himself and living a lie. years wasted suppressing himself and leading a false life. She in some ways became his light after he suffered in silence for years while harboring grudges against everyone around him. He would gladly go back to his horrible past in order to have her in his future because she was the best thing that has ever happened to him.
