I smiled at my butler, Kuya James, for the warm greeting. This is my first time coming home after so many years. Sa England kasi ako namalagi with my grandparents. Doon na ako lumaki, nag-aral and basically, my life was there.

 

 

 

Don't get me wrong, wala namang problema between me, my parents and my grandparents. Sadyang doon ko lang talaga gustong tumira. It was also my training for the upcoming responsibility I'll be taking.

 

 

 

"Thank you, Kuya james." I thanked the gentleman as I went inside the car. Albeit nahihiya dahil nakaka-agaw pansin talaga ang limousine ay hinayaan ko nalang.

 

 

 

I was sitting peacefully, enjoying the drive kahit na super traffic when my phone rang. It was my mothers asking for a videocall, I smiled.

 

 

 

"Hello, Moms?" I politely greeted to the two gorgeous women who was both occupying the screen. Natatawa pa nga ako dahil para silang nag-aagawan sa spot.

 

 

 

"Nakshie ko! Finally, your home!" I laughed. My Mama is the ever energetic one. Hindi pa siya nagtagal for a second when she was immediately shoved to side. Si Mommy naman ngayon ang nasa screen haha.

 

 

 

"My baby! How was the plane ride? Sorry, on maintenance kasi ang private jet but I hope you liked the first class experience?" Ngumiti ako. Perks of being an only child of the most wealthiest couple. I'm being babied most of the time.

 

 

 

"It's fine, Mom. I was comfortable, don't worry. I miss you guys."

 

 

 

"Awe! I miss you too, Nakshie ko! Malapit na ba kayo? Asan si James?"

 

 

 

"He's driving, Mom. And I don't exactly know kung saan na kami? Haha." I looked outside. Somehow, the traffic earlier was replaced with a scenic view of the trees.

 

 

 

I pressed the intercom to talk to Kuya James.

 

 

 

"Yes, young mistress? You need something?" He automatically asked.

 

 

 

"Where are we na daw, Kuya James? My Moms are asking haha."

 

 

 

"Malapit na po tayo, Young Mistress. A fifteen minute drive per śe."

 

 

 

I nodded as I looked at the screen. "You heard that, Moms?"

 

 

 

"Yes, Naksie! Loud and clear! Ingat kayo ha! Can't wait to see you!"

 

 

 

"Me too, Moms. I love you!" I blew a kiss on the screen and they immediately returned it. How cute.

 

 

 

When I arrived home, sinalubong agad ako nila Mommy. They both look so excited to hug me and so do I. I really miss them so much. Although palagi ko naman silang nakakabonding pero iba pa din talaga when you're under their care na.

 

 

 

"Are you hungry, Love? We cooked your favorite foods."

 

 

 

"Good timing, Moms." I caressed my stomach while the three of us started walking towards the dining area. Meanwhile, my baggages are being carried by James.

 

 

 

"Just put it inside my room, Kuya James. Thank you." He nodded as he proceeded upstairs.

 

 

 

"Nga'pala, Nakshie ko. Are you ready na ba na ipakilala sa company?"

 

 

 

I smiled as I finished chewing my food. "Yes, Mom. I'm ready." I answered in full determination, making them smile widely.

 

 

 

The next day, I woke up super early. Siguro namamahay ako because I can't go back to sleep anymore after that. So I just jogged around our village nalang.

 

 

 

Saktong naghahanda na sila ng breakfast when I finished circling around the area. Ang ganda pala dito. Ang dami ding puno sa paligid. Ang peaceful tuloy.

 

 

 

I returned home with a towel around my neck. I used it to wiped my sweats kanina. Nadatnan ko naman sila Mommy na pababa ng hagdan.

 

 

 

"Hey, Moms. Good Morning." I kissed their cheeks for a greeting.

 

 

 

"You woke up early, Love? Hindi ka naman tinamaan ng jetlag?"

 

 

 

I shook my head. "Thankfully, I didn't."

 

 

 

"Mana ka talaga sa'kin, Nakshie! Anyway, let's go eat na. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" I chuckled at my Mom while si Mommy naman ay inilingan lang siya.

 

 

 

"Love, do you wanna go stroll around the company's area muna bago ka namin ipakilala? To be familiar lang ganon."

 

 

 

I thought for a second before shrugging. "Sure po, Mommy."

 

 

 

Nauna na sila Mom na pumunta sa kompanya. May meeting pa daw kasi sila with an important investor. Our company is a fashion company pala. We produce clothes and somehow, it became super popular around the world.

 

 

 

Anyway, andito na rin kami ni Kuya James sa BGC central district kung saan naka-locate ang company namin.

 

 

 

I got out of the car first while he was looking for a parking spot. Kagaya nang napagkasunduan, I walked around the area, nodding in appreciation with how advance and aesthetic the place is.

 

 

 

It looks like a busy, rich area. Ilang ulit na din ako nakakakita ng mga expensive people walking eh haha.

 

 

 

I was a few meters away from our company when I got a text. Galing sakanila Mommy.

Love, later ka nalang muna pumasok sa company ha. It looks like the meeting's gonna get longer eh.

 

 

 

I replied.

 

 

 

To: Mommy

Okay po, Mom. Take your time lang po hehe.

 

 

 

I was about to return my phone inside my pocket when I felt someone tapping my back.

 

 

 

Just then, I was met with a very beautiful ginger-haired girl. I felt frozen and wonderstruck.

"Pisting yawa! Linti! Ba't hindi man lang nag-inform ang talent niyo na magca-cancel siya today?! So unprofessional!"

 

 

 

Napangiwi ako sa malakas na sigaw ng boss namin. May photoshoot kasi kami ngayon and now we are currently delayed dahil lang sa hindi sumipot ang model na naatasan for this so-called photoshoot.

 

 

 

And yes, tama nga naman si boss, napaka-unprofessional ng model na 'yun. Wala man lang karespe-respeto sa time naming lahat. May deadline pa naman kaming hinahabol. Haynako.

 

 

 

"I'm sorry, Mr. Bacolod. Hindi ko din alam kung anong pumasok sa kokote 'non." Pagpapaumanhin ng manager ng modelo. Mabuti pa 'yung manager nandito.

 

 

 

"Oh eh ano na ngayon ang gagawin na'tin neto? May deadline tayong hinahabol Miss Hee! We need to do this shoot or else lahat tayo mawawalan ng trabaho!"

 

 

 

Our boss– who is also the photographer, kaya ganon nalang ang pagkastress nito, crumpled his face under his palms. Konting-konti nalang ay ihahagis niya na ang mamahaling camera na hawak-hawak niya.

 

 

 

His usual malambing Bacolodnon accent ay napalitan na ng tonong parang tigreng manglalapa at any moment soon.

 

 

 

"I-I'm sorry po. Tatawagan ko nalang ulit si–"

 

 

 

"No need! I don't want to work with such an unprofessional artist! Mas lalo lang masisira ang bait' productivity ko."

 

 

 

"A-Ano na pong gagawin na'tin ngayon?"

 

 

 

"Maghahanap tayo ng pamalit this instance!"

 

 

 

Lahat kami nanlaki ang mata. Oh ? How are we going to find a model in an instant? Nasa may studio company pa naman kami ngayon. Yung ibang models ay busy din sa ibang department.

 

 

 

"Pero, Sir. Paano tayo makakahanap ng modelo ng ganon kadali? Ano yan magic?" Sabat pa ng manager kaya pinanlisikan siya ng mata ni Boss. Matic na napayuko naman siya agad. Ayan, sasagot-sagot ka pa ha.

 

 

 

Hindi na siya sinagot ni Sir bagama't ay tumingin ito lahat sa'min. "Find me a model, pronto! Ang empleyadong makakahanap ng taong pasok sa standards ko, I'll give a fifty percent raise on their salaries!"

 

 

 

Nagpanting ang dalawang tenga ko as well as my eyes formed into a tiny dollar bills when I heard that. Shuta! 50 percent raise! Yayaman na ako pagnagkataon!

 

 

 

"I'll just give each and everyone of you half a minute to accomplish it. Or else, you're all fired! Now, scram!" He raised his hand at tinaboy na kami kaya hindi na ako nag-aksaya pa ng oras to run for my life.

 

 

 

Either I get that 50 percent raise or mawawalan pa ako ng trabaho nito. Saklap! Bwesit na modelong 'yun!

 

 

 

"Shuta beh! Saan naman tayo agad makakahanap ng modelo nito!?" Nasa labas na ako ng kompanya ngayon kasama ang mga kaibigan/katrabaho, looking for some miracle to happen.

 

 

 

Dito na kami nagsight-seeing since nasa central BGC naman naka-locate ang kompanya. Meaning, maraming mga bourgeosie na may mga magagandang genes ang napapadaan dito.

 

 

 

Now all I need is a tall– around 5'6 girl with outstanding beauty. 

 

 

 

May nakikita naman kami but I know that it's not enough to satisfy our boss' standards. Knowing him, hindi sapat na maganda't gwapo lang. Kailangan may 'hmp' factor. Alam niyo 'yun? 'Yung mapapa-multiple take ka ng tingin at hindi lang double take.

 

 

 

I hope I find that 'the one'.

 

 

 

And it seems like fate is on my side when I notice a figure. A very, very attractive figure.

 

 

 

Nakatalikod pa lang ito and yet, her back already exudes an aura. 'Yung nanghahatak ng atensyon kind of aura. Parang ganon. Plus ang haba-haba din ng buhok nito at natural na wavy and blonde. Mas lalo tuloy na accentuate ang y niyang figure.

She's the one!

 

 

 

Dali-dali naman akong dinala ng mga paa ko sa kung nasaan ang babae. Her back was still facing me so I took my time to tap her behind her back to get her attention. Nakatingala pa ako kasi mas matangkad pa pala siya sa malapitan.

 

 

 

It's as if time had stopped when she turned around. Shuta, ang ganda! Ayan tuloy napamura nalang ako sa isipan.

 

 

 

Kung 'yung likod palang niya ay attractive na, ang lang ng mukha niya mga dzai! Sobrang perfect! Napakaganda! Parang hinulma sa imahe ng pagiging perpekto!

 

 

 

And don't get me started on her beauty mark near her lips. It's ing mesmerizing. 

 

 

 

"Yes?" I noticed her kind dark brown eyes. It was confused as of the moment. Napapagitnaan naman ito ng mga mahahabang pilikmata. Para siyang naglagay ng ilang false eyelashes except that it's all natural.

 

 

 

Her nose was also perfectly pointed. It seems like it was solely sculpted to fit on her face alone. Plus the fact that her lips gave this bow effect. A super kissable, reddish, bow shaped lips.

 

 

 

"O-Open-minded ka ba?" ! Ba't 'yun ang unang pumasok sa isipan ko!? It's as if all the words jumbled inside my brain the moment I saw her, turning me into this awkward, mumbling mess weirdo. Baka isipin niya na isca-scam ko siya!

 

 

 

Wait, hindi niya ata maintindihan? Mukhang afemme– Male version ng Afam– si ate niyo eh.

 

 

 

Her thick full brows furrowed into confusion even more. "I'm sorry? I don't quite get what you mean?"

 

 

 

I know that I should be embarrassed right now pero mas nanaig sa'kin ang british accent niya. Holy . Double dead na ata ako nito by the end of our conversation. Isang nosebleed para sa ganda niya at isa para sa y niyang accent. Bye bye blood.

 

 

 

Gayunpaman, I gathered my courage to ask her about my sole agenda for today. She's my 50 percent raise after all.

 

 

 

"I mean sorry haha." I awkardly scratch the back of my head, fakely laughing. "Are you a model?"

 

 

 

Her head tilted. "Uhm?"

 

 

 

"Sorry! You look like a model kasi!"

 

 

 

"Oh really?" Sumilay ang isang ngisi sa maganda niyang labi. "Thank you for the compliment but I'm not a model haha."

 

 

 

"Do you like to be one right now?"

 

 

 

Her brows raised in amusement. "Oh?"

 

 

 

"I'm really sorry, Miss. But I'm asking you a favor right now. We're behind schedule na kasi and need na namin makahanap ng model or else we'll get fired huhu."

 

 

 

"You see this building?" I pointed to the expensive-looking, high-rise structure. Well, one of the best fashion brand lang naman kasi ito. Ang JMY Fashion and Co.

 

 

 

"Galing ako diyan. So if you'll model our clothing line for the day, rest assured that you will be paid bigtime." Pageenganyo ko sakanya.

 

 

 

"O-Or kung ayaw mo ng pera, treat this as a big favor from me! Here, my name is Winter! Employee ako dito kaya legit talaga!" I gave her my corporate ID. Buti nalang talaga at parati ko itong dala-dala.

 

 

 

"Hmm." Tumingin muna siya sa harap ng building, thinking deeply.

 

 

 

Please pumayag ka na huhu. Kinakapalan ko na ang mukha ko dito Miss Ganda. Please lang. 'Yung dignidad ko hindi ko na mahagilap.

 

 

 

"Treat din kita ng lunch after nito, Miss! Just please say yes."

 

 

 

I clutched my two palms together and I was so close on kneeling down to her. I probably look stupid and desperate right now pero bahala na. Para sa pera! Mga alipin sa salapi nga naman.

 

 

 

Nataranta naman siya sa inasta ko as she looked around us. I felt her soft hands on my arms, helping me to stand properly.

 

 

 

"Oh no, please stand up." Hindi ako nagpatinag. Kapal muks na talaga ako. "Okay, okay. I will do it. Just please don't kneel."

 

 

 

"Really?"

 

 

 

She immediately nodded. "Yeah."

 

 

 

I quickly fixed my stance. "Great! Let's go!"

 

 

 

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya as I dragged her gently all the way to the company.

I smiled at the girl Winter was talking to kanina pa. Honestly, I don't what got to me at pumayag ako sa offer ni Winter. Ito siguro ang napapala ng mga marurupok sa mga magaganda.

 

 

 

 

Anyhow, nang makapasok na kami sa loob ng  kompanya– which is surprisingly our company. How ironic– we are immediately encircled by a bunch of people. It was her co-workers. Apparently, they are all looking for her dahil bigla nalang daw siya nawala haha.
