Seolhyun had always been head over heels in love with Hanbin. They had been dating for two years and had shared countless memories together.

 

However one day, everything changed for the worse when she discovered that Hanbin was cheating on her.

 

At first, Seolhyun was in complete denial. She didn't want to believe that the person she loved and trusted the most could betray her like that.

But the evidence piled up, she had no choice but to confront Hanbin about it all.

 

Hanbin denied it all, then pleaded with Seolhyun to forgive him and promised he would never cheat again. But Seolhuyn knew she couldn't trust him anymore.

 

It hadn't been so much of a clean break up, their friend group was divided, some thought she should forgive while the other was on her side and helped her as best they could to mourn the loss of her relationship.

 

One day she was invited to a friend's gathering, she asked numerous times if Hanbin would be present and she was promised he wasn't.

 

To say that Seolhyun felt betrayed was an understatement, she felt like not one of her friends thought about her and her feelings about inviting Hanbin and his new girlfriend.

She tried to put up a fake happy front but she knew somehow Hanbin would see right through her.

 

The new girlfriend, Minji, was pretty and quite the catch if she was being honest.

She tried to find something not to like but she couldn't and gave up after grilling her slightly after they were introduced.

 

Seolhyun then went to sulk in a corner at a bar area drinking a glass of tequila on the rocks, she wanted to numb her fee

Chapter 1: This was good. Liked the way you converted the prompt into your story, it fit so well.

And I understand you about the burnout. I have been wanting to write for so long but no good idea comes to me.
