The Sad Life of Kim Jongwoon
Description
Yesung was always dubbed as the weird or '4-D' guy of Super Junior. But behind this bug-collecting guy lies a delicate personality that is easily crushed. No self-confidence. No hope. No motivation. This member, who might possibly be the best actor of Super Junior, was going to crack soon. Especially in the entertainment industry. Because behind every comment on YouTube that said that he was ugly or useless hurt him more than a thousand cold knives hurled straight into his heart.

I never thought I was good at singing. I always thought my voice was mediocre at best. I had no close friends, a few aquantinaces, if you want to go there.
My mother and also my best friend, was the one who had signed me up for the audition for the pretigious SM Entertainment Agency. She believed in me so much that I started believing in myself. I definately would not be here today as a singer it it wasn't for her.
The first day I arrived at the building I knew I wasn't good enough. Just looking at its glass walls made me feel inferior. After checking in the front desk, I was handed a scheldule and a set of rules that basically caged my life. There were more than 100 trainees there, all waiting to debut. All waiting for their dreams to come true. But there was no way SM could debut all of them. Competetion was going to be big. And I was scared. Terrified. But I kept at it. For 4 long, tiring years.
This is my story. This isn't the story of Yesung. This is the story of Kim Jongwoon.

This is a fictionalized form of the story of Yesung's life from his training period to present day.
Foreword
Yesung has always been my bias in Super Junior. He was the one I first noticed, the one voice I enjoyed when I first listened to them sing 'No Other.' I was shocked when he said that he had no confidence in his singing at the begining and I'm glad his confidence grew.
I can tell that when the other members talk about how "weird" or "ugly" he is, he's hurt. Not the whole It's-just-a-joke hurt but geniuinely hurt. And when he talks about how insecure he is and that he has no fans, he's being serious.
This is dedicated to our Cloud Prince. The one whose voice melts all hearts, even if it hasn't melted his own yet. Hopefully, Yesung, you keep fighting and gain the recognition you deserve.
