A misty fog fills the garden where the Wolyongsoo tree stands.

It has now changed back to its old appearance.

A tree without leaves and flowers... A dead one.

Just when everyone had thought that the inevitable end for ManWol's 1,300 years was up. Something unbelievable had happened...

Slowly, green leaves started to sprout up the dark branches. Immediately filling the old and magical tree, soon enough sparkling violet flowers start to bloom, adding color and bling to the dark oak branches.

ChanSung's eyes widen at the sudden events that flashed by his eyes.

What was happening? Wasn't this supposed to be the end ? Why did it suddenly come back to life?

Questions filled the man's head but it had all happened so quickly that he could hardly get his head together.

In a second, snow started falling down the sky and the moon's bright light reflected down on the beautiful tree.

A loud voice then echoes through the whole place startling them both.

It was distant at first but soon enough, the woman's voice came closer and clearer.

They had recognized it immediately....

It was the first and benevolent Mago.

She had always spoke to ChanSung and also ManWol in a gentle yet wise tone. Although sometimes she was quite hard to read and understand.... Well actually, all the deities were unpredictable and in a way annoying.

ChanSung tightened his hold on Manwol's hand as he started to feel lightheaded. But despite that, he still tried his best to listen to the deity's words.

"From now on, your life has started to flow once again. Arrogant and self-pitying ManWol ah.....

The deities have decided to finally give you a chance.

From this day forward, take all the lessons you've learned from this place with you and live a normal life.

The life which has been paused for such a long time shall continue and you shall live out those lost remaining time preciously and die a natural death one day.

Be free from all the bad memories and focus only on the ones you'll make in the future.

The deities have decided to give you a chance.... A chance for you to be happy but let this serve as a warning that the resentment and anger which has tied you down to this place shall never be repeated again.

From now on, erase the anger and move on.... Your life has started to flow again, as your blood starts flowing down your veins. You also, will now become a human.

This is all I can say for now, until the day you shall cross the bridge above the Sanzu River.... Live life well and take good care of each other."

ManWol and ChanSung were both confused at the MaGo's words.

Did it mean that she didn't need to go to the afterlife anymore? Did she finally have a chance to grow old with the man she now so loves ?

But even before the couple could ask or speak, a lighting like flash almost blinds them and then we now see a dazzled ChanSung shouting as he wakes up from his dream.

Although I was pretty satisfied with the ending of the drama which made a lot of sense, here's a new version of a 'what if' for all of you ManChan fans who are still hurting from the ending of Del Luna even after 3 years 🙆🏻‍♀️✨
