The next day was busy as expected. Hyukjae received a good morning message from Donghae and saw Donghae’s IG story of the lights and cameras being set up way before Shindong fetched him from the dorm. Thankfully their photoshoot today was just plain backgrounds and individual shots of two outfits, so even if Kyuhyun could not make it today, they were able to proceed and schedule Kyuhyun's for another day. 

When he arrived at the set, everyone was rushing about. Donghae was monitoring everything and almost micromanaging running from set to dressing room back and forth to the point that Shindong herded him away from the dressing room and told him he’d manage everything on that side.

Once Hyukjae was done being styled and made up for his first shot, even if it wasn't his turn yet, he immediately went to the set on the pretense that he wanted to monitor the shoot. Well, he really did. As the leader, he takes it upon himself to monitor group stuff. But frankly, today Hyukjae sat behind the cameras but was mostly watching Donghae rather than monitoring Yesung and Siwon's shoot. 

During his own shoot, of course he was as professional as possible, and he couldn't help but rejoice internally at the way Donghae looked at him with awe. 

As they reviewed his photos, Donghae said, "Amazing. Once you faced the cameras you really became Eunhyuk."

"Yah, stop it Lee Donghae. Are you aiming for a free lunch or what?" He joked, aware that Donghae was sincere.

Donghae laughed. "I'm serious! You really ooze charisma with that sharp look and your perfect angles. And you pose so well. Sometimes I think you should be a model."

"But I prefer the dancefloor rather than a runway."

"Of course, Mr. Dance Machine," Donghae said with a wink then walked away to coordinate with the photographers. 

Hyukjae was guided back to the dressing room to get styled for his second shoot. Again, as soon as he was done he went back to the set. Donghae was busy talking to some staff and Hyukjae walked towards him while opening the packet of biscuits he took from the dressing room. He bit on one then proceeded to hold another one to Donghae's mouth. The younger glanced at him for a second then absentmindedly opened his mouth to accept the biscuit. Happy with the response, Hyukjae just followed Donghae and kept feeding him in between his conversations with the staff.

After all the shoot was done, some staff were left to pack up while some, including Donghae, went back to the agency with the artists and managers for today's recording. Not having time to stop for lunch, they decided to just have delivery at the recording studio.

When Hyukjae arrived, he sat down on one of the tables with s as they reviewed the song they were about to record. Donghae appeared and sat next to Hyukjae, pulling out several tupperwares from his bag. 

“Lunch hasn’t arrived yet. But I brought some appetizers,” Donghae said as he opened the tupperwares showing fruits and vegetables. 

Hyukjae scrunched his nose and Donghae chuckled.

“Hyuk, you have a packed schedule today. After this recording you still have choreography practice.”

“You’re busier than I am because I have breaks in between members’ turns for the photoshoot earlier and for the recording now. And you were up earlier than me.”

“Yes and I’m going to eat these too. Come on, have a bite.”

“Well, we are all on the same schedule aren’t we?” Yesung suddenly butted in. 

Siwon was pursing his lips trying not to smile. “Yeah, shouldn’t we have these healthy foods too?”

Donghae started, as if he was surprised that there were other people there. Hyukjae cannot help but laugh.

“Uhm, well I packed a lot. W-we can all share?” Donghae said while tucking his hair.

Adorable. So prettily handsome.

“Go on guys, take some and eat,” Hyukjae urges the others.

Donghae narrows his eyes at Hyukjae. He took a fork and piled some food then shoved it to Hyukjae. “Don’t think you can walk away from this.”

Hyukjae pouts and shakes his head.

“Come on, it tastes good.”

“Can I just have it for dessert after lunch arrives?”

“Ya Lee Hyukjae, I know you will just say later that you’re already full.”

Yesung and Siwon both snorted at that. Hyukjae looked at them with a frown, feeling betrayed.

Donghae put the fork down. “I woke up early to prepare for this. But I understand if you really don’t like it. Even if this is for your own health.”

Hyukjae felt guilty, especially seeing Donghae looking so forlorn like that. So he gave in. “Okay, just one bite.”

Donghae looked up and did that cheeky smile he does whenever he gets his way. He raised the fork again and Hyukjae defeatedly opened his mouth to eat it.

Hyukjae was frowning, he really didn’t like the taste and texture. “Why is it mixed, it makes it look and taste worse,” he said with a whine as he chewed on it.

“Ah okay okay, then how abou
