Hyejin didn't notice that Ahn had fallen asleep on Kihyun who seemed asleep as well after dinner. She places a blanket over them. With him asleep, Hyejin would have to do the dishes. She puts away the leftovers. A separate container with food that she would give to Kihyun set aside. A hand on her shoulder makes her jump sending the container flying. Hyejin turns to see a stunned Kihyun holding up his hands in surrender.

"Why the hell would you sneak up on me?!"

"Shhhh! You'll wake him up."

Both peer at the child sleeping on the couch. Hyejin glares at Kihyun as she carries him into her bedroom. Kihyun lingers singing to Ahn if he stirs. Once he's tucked away Hyejin starts lightly smacking Kihyun.

"What? What?"

"You know I hate that... You're so mean..."

Kihyun leans down looking directly in her face. "I don't mean to be like that and you know it. I always prefer a smiling bunny to a mad one."

Hyejin huffs but it's easy to see that's she softened at his words. They sit watching television chatting. She finds it surprising that he can still make her comfortable. His stories of being famous make it sound both boring and amazing. Hyejin offers to make him a drink stating that she did have grown-up juice for special occasions. Kihyun accepts but only if he can do dishes.

"It's only right since I worked so hard."

"I guess. But you can't unpause it. I am watching the rest with you."

"And how are you gonna stop me with your hands stuck in the water like that?"

Kihyun holds up his drenched hands. "Gimme a hug."

"...you better ing not."

"Still dislike your clothes being wet?"

"Don't be a ert. You know that's not nice."

"Me a ert? What about you? Trying to--"

"You use to tease me... I know you're a ert." Kihyun deadpans.

"T-that's different!"

"How so? You use to tell me all these things."

Hyejin covers her ears. Her eyes squeeze close. Kihyun chuckles drying his hands before walking over to Hyejin. He stares her down for a bit. To let her suffer a bit before peeling her hands off her ears.

"Calm down. I wouldn't tease you too much. I love seeing you flustered but seeing you smile is just as good."

Hyejin slowly opens her eyes. Her eyes lifting up to look at Kihyun's smiling face.

"...you really want us to move in?"

"Of course. You need to feel safe. If you're safe then Ahn will feel safe and that's the goal..."

Hyejin raises a brow, "I can only be safe if you're around?"

"Of course not. But I don't want him to get his hands on you."

"Uh... Kihyun you do know--"

Kihyun covers . "Do not say gross things about that person around me. Ever."

He could feel her shiver. Was he too harsh? Should he apologize to her? Kihyun starts to open his mouth however her lips were on his cheek. Her arms around his neck in a tight hug. What had he said to make her do this? He needed to figure it out to say it more.

"I missed you Yoo Kihyun."

Kihyun's arms quickly wrap around her. "I missed you too Hyejin. I missed you so much. ...more than you could ever know."
